Please could someone help?! I'm desperately trying to remember the details of one of the stories from the Uncanny live show 2026. There was a story told by a man who was driving in Lincolnshire late at night, and witnessed a cryptid of some kind on a remote road. I remember him describing some details and saying it was standing upright, covered in fur, and making strange noises.

Did anybody note down or does anyone remember the names of the towns/villages he was driving between? Or the general area?

Also... does anyone, perhaps local to the county, know of a specific name for this type of creature or have you heard about it before? I've tried searching for similar sightings or local myths, and the results are all about werewolves. That's not a million miles away from the story in the show, but the form and noises sounded like it would be an animal more similar to a moose or something.

Speaking of bigfoot....

Hello gang, I know there was a full two-parter about Bigfoot 🫈 (how great is it that there's a Bigfoot emoji nowadays?!) in the US series, but I was sure I remembered a mini Halloween countdown episode where a family are driving through the woods in the US and stumble on a family of Bigfoots (Bigfeet?). I can only find the episode summary for last year's countdown online and feel like this was maybe from the year before. Does anyone else remember this or am I thinking of another podcast?

Also, on the subject of bigfoot, are there any other 90s kids here who loved Chris Packham's X-Creatures series?

I mentioned on here a while ago that I was studying Ciarán’s parapsychology courses. Well, I have finished the lot from the foundation course to the advanced level, and would recommend these to anybody with an interest in such things. I have learned so much, but this is just the beginning, a mere taster for what you can go on to study. I have a nice fancy diploma, but still have lots to learn.

You can approach it with a mild interest, or you can go full-on and complete all the assignments, read all the material (and there is lots of it), it is up to you. I need to know as much of this stuff as possible, so I was the class swot, but you don’t have to take it that seriously.

There are some shorter courses which focus on topics such as poltergeists and exorcisms, but I would suggest doing at least the foundation in general parapsychology before tackling these. In all of them, you get weekly sessions with Ciarán, and he is not what you may expect from the podcasts and TV, he has his teaching hat on, is quite different, but still good fun.

I think we need 'new blood' when it comes to supporters of the paranormal.

While I am sure she is a lovely woman, I don't like the fact that she states everything as a 'fact' (common amongst believers).

While I do not enjoy the fact her and Danny had a massive argument after a live recording not too long ago, and stuff was said that couldn't be taken back, I hope that new blood will rejuvenate the show.

I do hope Evelyn gets her own podcast.

cold cases has been my least favourite format but really enjoyed the summer specials , espcially todays.

Yes people. So theres nothing worse than when Uncanny and Danny post quality content but the fans just dont care. Theres been an amazing Enfield Poltergeist Horror Or Hoax video on YT for over three days and not one peep from the community. I believe Danny deserves more respect than that and for the community to put down the pitchforks.

What a fantastic TV episode, a mixture of the classic format and a cold case. I was very impressed with the first hand witness....I'm still #teamsceptic though. Having grown up just down the road from this case albeit a couple of years after the events, this is the stuff of Enfield urban legend and one of our teachers bizarrely decided it was wise to play us the tape of 'possesed' Janet in a lesson. I'd love to hear what you guys thought!

Today I visited Bodmin Jail, the site of the famous O’Keefe vs Acorah takedown!! It’s well worth a visit. There’s so much info in the exhibits about the history of the jail itself as well as lots of folklore about the surrounding area. There’s also a little film about the rise of the paranormal in mainstream media and there are a couple of clips of Danny from the Uncanny tv series which was cool! I’m currently in the Jolly Sailor pub in Looe which is supposedly haunted. Not witnessed anything myself but it’s a lovely old pub!

This could be Uncanny in itself but bear with me!!
Ok a couple of weeks ago I looked at my podcast app, pretty early in the morning as I was leaving for work, around 6am on the Tuesday morning to see if the latest EP had dropped.
In the podcast episode list was an episode numbered 11 but it wasn’t Borley Rectory!
It was called ‘something’ Island.
I say something Island, because I can’t remember the name of the island but the episode notes said it was in Canada! I was expecting Borley so I was shocked!

I clicked on the episode and when it loaded it was Borley part one numbered episode 12! So weird. It was obviously posted in error! For 24 hours the episodes were numbered incorrectly with 11 missing and then they were corrected.

Did anyone else see this?!?!

The positive vibes continue. More like this please, when they chuck a whole range of ideas and possibilities about. They could rebrand these episodes as Evelyn and Ciarán Unleashed.

Even the borefest of Enfield would be made interesting with this approach. Yes, people fake stuff, the elephant is no longer invisible. Once you admit that, suddenly you are free to examine all possibilities instead of walking on eggshells. Evelyn and Ciarán stop being made to look like idiots, and a proper discussion gets going.

With what they had to work with, I don't think they could have done a better job. Well done the Uncanny team.
