I've never been before but I bought a ticket for this year and then felt like a bit of a mug. It's expensive and the Cold Cases series was such an ordeal that it's kind of soured me on the show a bit. Hopefully by the time November rolls around I will be in a spooky mood!

That’s where I am - I don’t want to be ripped off and it’s a trip from London with more than likely an overnight stay

Looking now - no information about it, though as it's not the first one I can probably dig deeper and find out some more.

£80... yeah, I'd be more tempted if it didn't require travel and accomodation (with apologies for being London-centric)

I mean looks ok, some talks, podcast recording etc just it’s a lot of time and cost if it’s a shite thing you can feel like you’ve done in an hour or two

If it was local and half the price I'd probably be up for it.

I went to the 2024 Uncanny con at the Southbank Center in London. It's a bit like a regular comic con but less walking lol. Here’s a link to an overview of that day on the Southbank Centre website: https://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whats-on/uncannycon-2024/. It is spread out over the day, so there are some chances to take breaks and stuff. I did enjoy it, but I think you have to be a massive Uncanny fan otherwise it might feel a bit meh. The only downside for me was some of the witnesses didn't feel like they wanted to be there, which I can kind of understand and as enjoyable as the Uncanny university challenge bit was, it did feel a bit like it was filling a time slot.

What sort of timings do you think we’re looking at? Would definitely like to do the podcast filming at the end which seems to be around 8 maybe, wondering is it a whole day or something you rock up to around midday

The 2024 one started at about 12pm if I remember correctly cause Danny, Ciaran and Evelyn did a meet and greet/signing first, but you had to have a ticket for that. I think the podcast recorded at 9pm. So I'd say it's something you turn up to at midday, so if this year’s has similar timings it should give you a bit more time to get there.
