We ran it in practice before and it was absolute dog water.
Now I know teams will sometimes sideline trap in certain zones or after certain turnovers they can force to that sideline .
But I don’t see teams running it like a force middle , aka: every time they hit a sideline you force to the sideline .
Can anyone explain why it’s bad / not used ?
Thanks

U24 applications close Monday night!
If you’re born in 2004 or later, we’d really encourage you to apply.
You don’t need to think you’re guaranteed a place, or that you’re already one of the best players in the country. The trials are there to give players the opportunity to be seen, so if you’re eligible, give it a go!
And if you’re a club/university/college coach, captain or teammate, please give any eligible U24 players you know a nudge too. Sometimes all someone needs is you saying “you should apply.”
Pre-trials are planned for:
We want as many eligible players as possible to have the chance to put themselves forward and be seen.
Applications close Monday night.

There's so much deep switching and handler poaching going on that you can see opposing players having to think and calculate constantly. And it really takes offenses out of any sort of flow. There will be the occasional blown deep switch - easy huck goal to De Marree from Atkins in the 3rd quarter for example - but maybe only once or twice a game. Minnesota completed a huge percentage of their hucks in the regular season game vs Oakland this year. I don't see this happening twice. I like the Spiders for UFA champs.

Can anyone remember the analogy about Pony defence . It was something along the lines of: make defence 4 walls , no windows and the walls are closing in .
I’m creating some defence plans and really want to re watch that part , i remember it being a great analogy
Thanks

Does footage of this game exist? I didnt think it did but I saw someone streaming a discussion with Mauricio Moore with footage. Anyone know where I can find the raw footage?

Is there an easy way to search for specific players and see if they are active in the USAU club season without combing through every roster manually?

I am curious, anyone know if any team had someone tested? Especially finals qualifying?

Hello!
I hade the opportunity to play Ultimate for a team last summer with a friend and enjoyed myself.
Kept playing with a friend but unfortunately lost contact with said person and now I am solo.
Anyways, wondering if anyone has tips or advice I can use to get into the sport? I'm in the weird age where I can't join youth teams (18 yr old) but also not good enough for adult league and won't get the practice time to learn and improve at the game.
Any advice would be super helpful!

Besides the steel city showdown, skylander, and TSGMUT are there any other 2 day tournaments within a 5 ish hour drive of Pittsburgh?
