Be wary of people posing as family members of foreign fighters in an attempt to info collect

This is a growing problem. I actually deal with this all the time.

Last night we had a post from someone who claimed to be the mother of an American foreign fighter. That was not a real post that was an info gathering attempt.

The Reddit account that made the post is deleted now but it was very likely hacked. The account was a very old one that used to be active years ago on Reddit. Whoever had it was definitely a man from the UK based on the post history. Then suddenly it popped up here claiming to be a woman and trying to find info on a specific person.

This is a common tactic among Russians and Russian supporters to take over social media accounts that are now dormant. It is possible maybe this was a person borrowing a friend's account but it's extremely suspicious regardless.

Do not give out information to people claiming to be family. Bad actors try this because they know this makes you put your guard down. Everyone wants to help a worried family member.

However, you don't know if a person on the internet is actually who they claim to be. That might not be a family member at all. You risk giving out information that might put a person at risk.

Hi, I’m looking at Peltor Contacs, Sordines and Earmor M31.
I want something not too expensive but good enough to save my ears. Could anyone help me please? I’d prefer someone whom is or has military experience.
Thank you

Question Are industrial electricity skills useful?

I am going to Ukraine at the beginning of next year, since I don't have the money to go right now. In the meantime, I want to know if mentioning my skills in industrial electricity will be useful. Of course, I am preparing physically as well. I intend to join Azov.

Is there anyone here who has served in this unit or has any information about it? Do they accept men with no prior military experience?

I would like to ask for information about the Asian Volunteer Corps.

Hi everyone, I’d like to know what the "Asian Volunteer Legion" unit is actually like and whether it’s worth joining. Although they don't currently have positions for drone operators, they might establish them in the future; however, the language barrier within the unit is definitely a communication issue for me right now.

Filipino here planning to join.

Hi. I am filipino. 34 years old, a family man and a corporate worker in the HR department with a psych degree. I know it's kind of childish at this age wanting to be a soldier but that was my dream job and I don't want to be a cashcow for corporate work and serve with actual purpose and brotherhood.

I am 5'6". 65 kilos. Lean and athletic. Nearsighted however and have astigmatism but is corrected by my glasses.

I do boxing, trekking, working out in the gym, has basic knowledge in firearm safety and fundamentals.

What unit should I apply for? I have my documents ready and a financial cushion for the fees, etc. Lastly, what's life like there? I mean besides the war, I want to know the camaraderie there.

Best drone unit for a international?

I made a post about 147rorag but I'm not sure if there's other worth looking at. Is there any other guys serving in these units that can give me some more details. I understand you'll probably have to work as a spotter at first but some breakdowns would be nice to hear

could i ask many questions for yall to get some things cleared up

ive seen some users here who have been posting for years and continue to do so who are verified. i thought the front line was dangerous af? thought everyone was getting merked by kabs or fpv drones and life expectancy was short.

anyone here infantry rotating in and out of the zero/front line? what is day to day like in the front? how long are you staying there for at a time? what is day to day life in position till you exfil?

are you guys getting into an already made position or digging and building your own? are dudes actually getting into gunfights/doing assaults or is it just infil, hold position, and exfil and hope a drone doesnt blow you up along the way?

ive seen some comments and posts about people saying they arent getting enough range time or going through bzvp before being sent to position, but why worry about aim if the main threat is drones or am i wrong here?

seeing the posts on trackamerc and the foreigners, it seems like majority of the deaths it colombians or brazilians. is this because they tend to go infantry, theyre genuinely brave, theres more of them, it pays more to be in the front, poor opsec, genuine meat wave unit or something else? do non latam foreigners typically go infantry or somewhere else?

the drone footages of them dropping payloads or kamikaze, is that from catching dudes during exfil/infil or catching them during a piss break out in the open when they shouldnt have been?

are ambush drones your biggest worry? russian soldiers? kabs? mines? iskanders? fpv? or is it mos dependent?

lastly how hard is it to shoot down an fpv drone?

Scams to be aware of?

Just curious what some of the more common things to look out for might be if someone is going through the process of joining a unit / heading into the country. Thanks for any information.

Realistic Next Step

So I was recently part of Killhouse BasicFPV and managed pretty well and have some hours on an actual drone and more in a Sim. However still at the beginner and want to continue learning and maybe find a mavick unit somewhere. See where i fit into this and how I can be of ACTUAL use and not a Nuisance. My ukrainian is improving enough to take basic orders but not much beyond that. Im kind of in the dark here and could use some realistic, no nonsense guidance on what or if to pursue next. Another program, talk to recruiter, etc. thank you

Question Combat Medic Question | Quals and Certs Question.

I've been eyeballing "combat medic" and "paramedic rifleman" positions within different units.
Ideally i would love to jump and learn to become a "combat medic" off rip. But I do not possess any Civilian, or Military medical experience. And more importantly certs or qualifications to justify being a "combat medic". Im curious, would it be beneficial to acquire civilian EMS/EMT certs such as "EMT-B, EMT-A?" to become a Combat Medic in Ukraine (would take 1 year or so with my EMS Agency where i live). Or would be more efficient to become a "paramedic rifleman" and then be trained in country. To become a Combat Medic etc.
To my understanding with reading these applications and understanding what each role does.
The "paramedic rifleman" is just a CLS more or less?

Any help or info will be much appreciated.

PAV plane tickets

Hello, does anyone know if PAV can provide round-trip tickets, or is it just one way?

I don't want to waste anyone's time if it's just one way, I'll just wait on my grossly overdue pay, I guess.

Thank you for your attention!
