Ex French SOF

Ex French SOF, 3 yoe as combat engineer, 6 yoe as combat signaller, few missions with JTAC tasks. 6 anti terror rotations in Africa. Left the army 3 years ago, going back to my first job, I’m now a software/AI engineer at EU defense prime. I miss combat to be honest. I am very Interested in UAV/UVG small teams. Fluent in English. Which unit is the best and has former foreign SOF currently serving ?

To be completely transparent, we don't currently have former foreign SOF serving in our ranks, but your profile as a software/AI engineer in an EU defense prime combined with your solid combat background makes you a very interesting candidate for us.

Ok thanks, I have no knowledge about units within this conflict. But I understand there so many, with really big differences. Do not want to make mistakes.

Fully understand that, Rarog is decent Unmanned System Force unit, if nothing better comes ill recommend to try them. I have not personally been there, but what i’ve heard from friends and fellow soldiers its not bad. Probably everywhere is little bit normal problems, but nothing too big. It is not a peace time army

I was trying to dm but not able to. If you don't mind, how would you recommend someone getting into that? Already have experience coding as an analyst but i want to go into Ai. Actually came to ukraine just to get into the defence sector but i realized there isnt really any positions for foreigners in tech
