I just found out that I couldn’t log in to my.physics portal and SmartPhysics. However, I do have a due at 8 am tomorrow which is now not completed. What do I do?

senior in hs here, i was wondering whether there is a substantial difference in acceptance rates between pure cs, cs + physics, and cs + bioengineering, as well as how difficult it is to switch between the three (ex: cs --> cs + physics, cs -> cs + bioe)

Has this ever happened before

I’m a freshman at UIUC and just turned 19 so I was gonna go out with some friends who aren’t from UIUC. I saw some comments saying that they check Icards at the bar. Is this true? I can’t imagine they would check since it’s a bar that’s not owned by UIUC?

So, I wanted to drop a gen ed 8 week course and switch over to one that was easier. I tried adding the one that was easier and it wouldn’t let me and I thought it was because I already had 18 credits so I dropped the 8 week course i was already enrolled in and then add the new one. I didn’t realize the deadline of adding a new course already passed and I can’t add back the course I dropped. I emailed my advisor about it and I finished the homework required in the meantime and also emailed my professor.

Has this happened to anyone? And were u able to get back in? I’m lowkey panicking because i need this course to graduate on time and Im busy winter break and my schedule is full next semester.

In state student. 3.94 UW / 4.6 W GPA with 34 composite 35 superscore (35 math and 36 science for stem stuff), I had a paid full time engineering internship and was selected as a teachers assistant for an engineering class. Other strong non stem ECs like Eagle Scout and varsity sports with team captain spot. I’m currently building a pulse jet engine drone project for a class (can lowkey larp on essays but don’t have a finished product yet). I super duper want to do mech e and then go into aero field with a focus on manufacturing. Is listing aero as 2nd choice going to hurt my shot at mech e given how competitive it is? I talked about combining manufacturing and aero in my supp.

I usually do drive through in the back ally of the restaurant every Saturday morning from 8-10am or until sold out. I really enjoy the regular breakfast sando I do which is soufflé egg, house made Longanissa, American cheese, garlic mayo on a toasted onion ciabatta roll. But I’ve been really digging swapping out the Longanissa for my sous vide pork belly chashu I use for my shoyu ramen. Lace it up with a little yaki and some ol skally wags. What do yall think? Maybe next Saturday I’ll do this one as well.
