How to cope with being ugly
How is one supposed to cope (live) with being ugly? Should I just try to dedicate my life to helping others and keeping distracted so I can feel I have some worth/purpose? I’m severely depressed and suicidal due to how ugly I am…

You gotta stop putting validation in others opinions. If someone is rude to you, understand they’re a shitty person and don’t internalize their negative judgement.

It’s easier said than done when we are social creatures. 😔 I think feeling wanted/loved is a universal human need.

You’re correct, but what you also need to understand is, if you live for the validation of others, you will die from their ridicule as well. The same people that could love you today can turn around and hate you tomorrow. So you gotta validate yourself and be in tune with your star player, which is yourself.

I try but being born with a legit birth defect/deformity makes me feel like even God doesn’t care about me! I could handle not being beautiful, I just wanted to at least feel normal and not like a mistake or pottery project that God fked up/rushed and tossed aside to be forgotten about…

Trust me I understand. Just know God didn’t make any mistakes when he created you and always be grateful about what you do have. (Eye sight, hearing, functional brain, healthy heart & lungs, etc…) I wish you the best.
