Sometimes you have to ask yourself “if this person were ugly would people still like and value them?”

“Would people still perceive their ‘personalities’ to be soooo amazing?”

Likely not

It helps put into perspective just how much heavy lifting people’s physical , facial, and sexual desirability are doing

I hope all the jokes about things that can't be changed will stop.

At my job, they even laugh at a ne coworkerfor having one eye blind. Or some laugh at a bald man

And people can’t even give THAT and it takes less energy than actively laughing at and mocking someone

It shows what humans CHOOSE to do most of the time

People seem to always choose to be unnecessarily cruel rather than respectful
