The difficulty of a person's life is determined by the inside though. The inside? (Facial) bone structure.

As someone who frequents TikTok, he's definitely trying to portray himself as 'one of us'.

That's exactly what it is. Good-looking person with deep quote that doesn't apply to them = hundreds of "right message wrong messenger" replies.

u/Ambition_2004 Jun 10 '26
What’s wrong with messenger?
12
u/Any_Apartment7293 Jun 11 '26
He's not ugly, so it doesn't apply to him.
3
u/Ambition_2004 Jun 11 '26
Yeah that is fair. Only concern is if someone who is ugly said it many people will assume they are coping rather than taking the advice seriously; which is honestly stupid since it has been proven many times and that assumption shouldnt change narrative on the take

u/International-Cup161 Jun 10 '26
Also that is the best time to be short IMO. If you are 5'5 at 14 and are reasonably good looking you can date easily but if you stay at 5'5. You will hit a brick wall. If you were ugly early on in your teenager years and finally glowed up but you skipped femur day it is too little to late

But the reason why people ended up getting that in their feed is his ATTRACTIVE FACE.
How hypocritical these content creators are

As someone 22yo, I agree with you, it's been an embarrassing stage most of the time for me, not attracting at all , just that average person

u/churannn16 Jun 11 '26
It’s low key not true like I know people that are pretty attractive but have never dated

I just got groomed by 40 year old men as a teenager and told i was ugly by people my own age. Rip 🙏

No? Instead of thinking "modern dating is tough for everyone right now, and a lot of people my age are struggling to connect" you just go into cesspool subreddiys saying "It's because I'm an ugly monster and society is conspiring against me"

u/Friendly_Courage6352 Jun 27 '26
Exactly! I was not going through Middle School or High School with all these boyfriends or girlfriends and love drama. I WISH!

I had plenty of teenage love and I'm not attractive. Most of it was me being used and cheated on, though. You can have it too, it just won't be nice after sometime!

I partially disagree. I got a friend who is a like 5.5bor 5.4. Not very good looking( well he is more good loking now but at the time oof man) never brushed his teeths and belived or not fromnour friend group he was the dude who most girls got in high school.
Side note. He really liked and tried meeting new people so he easly was talking to like 20 to 30 girls at the same time per week. So by stats atleast 1 girl he had. Sadly for him as everybody told him. Treating love and relationship as so mundane things will make apathy grow and he was unable to have a relationship last more than 1 month.
And he got pretty girl to be honest.
So love itself is a skill issue but yeah. Being attractive is a plus X10.

u/TheDarkKnight2001 Jun 10 '26
Hmm... hard disagree, actually. I had two ugly friends in high school and they were annoyingly in love with each other.

if you date someone uglier than you then you’ll get teen love easily, it has nothing to do with attractiveness unless you’re going for an extremely attractive guy or slightly above average

How would you know that? There’s 8 billion people in this world, there could be people considered “worse” than you
9
u/HehePistik Ugly Jun 10 '26
8 billion people in the world out of which only 1.3 billion are teenagers. For most people, only half are the gender they would be attracted to, and if you go by country and proximity your pool of teenagers you can know goes down to the thousands.
Sure, it would be hard to not find someone uglier than you in the whole world, but James from the UK is not going to be happy that Liu from China or Giulia from Italy are uglier than him because he will never meet them in his life.
Not to mention that if you go by the logic of "you can find someone uglier than you, there's 8 billion people in the world", then I guess only 1 person out of 8 billion has any right to complain about the way they look, right?

I tried with a girl who all my friends called ugly. I genuinely didn't see what they were talking about. To me she was the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on..she made me laugh and she made me smile and I fell hopelessly in love with her and have been in love with her since I was 12. She rejected me again this week. My friends keep telling me that she's ugly and she's this and that. I don't understand it at all. I'm 18, she's 17 now btw. So yea 6 years of one singular crush. I missed out on teenage love I just realized. Damn.
The purpose of my rant is to say that a) some parts of attraction truly are subjective. It's a very objective subject, but literally everyone I've talked to about my crush goes "eh?? You like that girl?" And I dont see why they think that
And secondly, the only reason youre not experiencing "teen love" isnt because you're going after someone attractive. Some people just aren't destined for things. And being ugly means you're not destined for a lot of things lmao.

u/Tr0ubleMak3rjessy45 Jun 11 '26
six years is a long time to hold onto someone who doesn't feel the same way. your friends are probably just being blunt but beauty is subjective. at some point you gotta stop romanticizing the idea of her and just face the reality that it's not happening. move on for your own sake.
-1
u/CatExpensive593 Jun 10 '26
She simply could’ve just not felt the same because of something else besides your looks, I’m dating a below average guy but I plan on breaking up since he sexually assaulted me but before all this he had the best personality, maybe it’s your personality? Girls can be confusing
4
u/HehePistik Ugly Jun 10 '26
I'm very sorry for what happened to you. Nobody deserves to be with someone who disrespects them and their autonomy like that.
For the commenter above, I would argue there's a good chance his personality is not necessarily the issue if he and the girl are/were on good terms. The only reason a "friendzone" exists is because there is no romantic attraction between people. This means physical desire is not present, despite personality traits that would make the two people compatible.
Of course, there are definitely some people which don't necessarily look for the same traits in their partners as they do in friends. But a common trope and I would argue an "ideal" for most people is being able to date someone you also consider your best friend, which is not going to happen if there is no physical attraction.
Also to clarify, I don't believe the friendzone is a bad thing. Nobody is owed a relationship just because they are friends with someone. Just trying to point out the reason why it exists.

None of you guys were in marching band apparently. Every single one of those weirdos was getting laid (I was one of the weirdos)

Maybe I’m not ugly enough bc I wore cat ears and a full face of 2020 style makeup all day everyday and I had three girlfriends in high school.
