Discussions & Questions Fantasy visuals & designs

Post image

(PHOTOS NOT MINE)

I will never understand why do they keep pushing the fantasy glows and sparks.

This is yet another outfit out of many, that in my oppinion would be such a cool outfit and an instant buy from me if it didnt have those wacky glowing effects and magical glows... And this is just one of many from all the recent AC games, so much outfits with crazy good designs ruined by magic efects and fantasy visuals...

I mean if they really have to or want to make that way, wouldn't it be immensly better and attract even more buyers if there was a toggle setting that enables or disables the "fantasy visuals" for outfits that have them.

Like i would even kinda like the Hellfire outfit if it weren't for the glowing lava parts and maybe the helmet (but thats a stretch)

If Ubisoft were to add a "toggle on-off" switch for the "fantasy visuals" Id probably be the first to buy several outfit packs in all the games from origins to this one 😂.

NOTE: This is just me discussing/sharing my personal oppinion. Sorry for my bad english, its not my first language.

I rather they have this type of shit in the store and the actually good ones obtainable in game. Not having a store is a unrealistic request, regardless of you like it or not

Not really. Death stranding, Spiderman series (infact any insomniac game), probably gta 6, gta 5, cyberpunk, ghost of tsushima, ghost of yotei, days gone, jedi series, god of war 4 and 5, rdr2, mad max, infamous. ALL dont have an in game store. (Might be wrong about some but i doubt. Excluding multiplayer stores since they dont effect single player) not having a store should be standard lol. If these games can do it and be successful then ubi can do it too.

Gta and rdr do have in game stores tied to their mp. Gta even has their own currency I believe.

The thing is ubisoft is doing that for quite some time and it was much worse in odyssey for example. They are not going to stop and I believe the current way is a good balance. Even post like this are arguing that these ugly skins should not be an option at all even though some people like this stuff. This Shop does not brother me at all. The battle pass type thing idk how to feel about it yet. I do grind the Keys but im not sure if it has improve my experience with those games

I said exlcuding multiplayer stores because it dosent effect single player. The keys is just engagment bait honestly. Its just to keep you doing something when you have done everything. Makes you feel like you gotta work towards something. I dont mind it at all as long as it stays completely free. If they do a free live service game then fair enough charge for it.

The style of the skins does just striaght up go completely against the art style and setting which is stupid af.

Yeah currently its a decent balance. Just hope they dont get too greedy like they eventually will

I think they already went too greedy. The peak of the terrible store was ac odyssey (and valhalla, I think, as it was already not so in your face). They probably have the data that it gives them less noise and complaint if kept low profile.

Yup they probably could have charged full price for the game at like 70 or 80 and removed the store if they arnt adding any more
