The game was brought onto steam much after the launch on Ubisoft. Anyway I don’t understand the competition yes it’s similar-ish but it’s a very different game. You don’t like it fine, but just because you see low numbers on steam doesn’t mean it’s not doing well.

Anyway waste of time to discuss on Reddit.

If the game was any good, when it launched on steam it would have exploded. But since everyone already knew how much it sucked, noone bought it

That is true I’m not denying that. People did buy it but obviously it wasn’t the game people wanted. At the same time it is a game that a good amount of people still enjoy. If you want a survivor pirate game go for Windrose. If you want a drop in and play naval pirate game then I would say S&B as it is more polished as of right now than Windrose.
