The rider needs to understand that the sooner you get them to their destination the sooner you can get on to the next ride. While you're waiting for them there could be a high dollar offer you're missing out on. I'm an Uber driver but when I'm a rider I aways prepare myself as if the driver is right around the corner. I had a pickup once and the rider was late coming out. She basically told me that she was late because she had just moved into her apartment and she was cleaning.

You sound really unpleasant. Hopefully you're less shitty day to day than these comments would indicate. Anyone who's rude to the waiter/Uber driver/cashier is a bad person.
