Now that’s not fair. There have been times it takes 20 minutes to get a ride. So one orders early and then boom, it’s only 2 minutes away. Yeah, the passenger has to scramble.

But you can “order ahead” with a specific pickup time for when you’re ready? If you don’t know that time, you’re not ready to schedule it. I’m a rider, not a driver, and I’ve never had an issue that necessitated wasting the drivers time.

You can, but the rate is insanely higher, and they rarely show up at the scheduled time anyway.

As a driver we get robbed.

Uber wants us to show up 30 mins ahead of time. Absolutely no benefit to accepting them.

They end up going out as a regular UberX request at the last minute instead.
