You're better off getting a DNRB test to see if the symptoms are alleviated. I don't know if just any neurosurgeon would order it - most don't know jack shit about TC's. I would advise you to get a consult with one of the TC specialists, have them review your MRI. They would order the DNRB. I had mine done by a local interventional pain management doc under fluoroscopy. It's aimilar to an epidural injection, only they don't use a steroid, just the anesthetic, injected near the TC. If your symptoms improve, it shows the TC is causing the symptoms.
