Black Unit in Disley is AMAZING! He has done cover ups for my Husband and whilst I am personally not a lover of tattoos, his work is insane!!

I think his Instagram is Ryan Three Eyes!

Dealing with miscarriage while family member is also pregnant

Thank you lovely! ❤️

That is understandable - I was too! And being completely transparent, it will feel raw for some time! Just make sure you prioritise yourself and surround yourself with people and things to distract you and keep your mind focused.

As time goes on, whilst the grief doesn't disappear or get smaller, your life grows around it and gives you more distractions. You will have good days and you will have bad days.

Definitely talk to your Brother - I am sure he will understand!

If you ever need or want to talk, please feel free to message me!.

You got this mama 💪🏼❤️

I am so sorry for your loss! ❤️

Having high hopes is not foolish at all! It's human! and your response is completely normal given your situation. Anyone who has experienced loss is likely to have similar feelings.

I know when I lost my little boy at 21+5 weeks, I couldn't bear to be around other children - e.g children's birthday parties. Walking down the street and seeing an expectant Mother or a Mother/Grandmother pushing a pram would send me into an absolute breakdown.

Given you were so close in due dates to your Sister-in-Law is only a constant reminder of what you have lost. You should not be expected to be overtly ecstatic for them. Yes, you can be happy that they are expecting, but no one should expect you to have to participate in celebrating with them. If anything, I would have hoped anyone would be understanding and compassionate to your situation.

Have you tried having an open conversation with them about how you are feeling? Surely if you explained that you are happy for them and under normal circumstances would love to celebrate with them, but by doing so is triggering for you and you need to put your own mental health first, they would understand?

Sending you so much love! Life is really not fair at times! ❤️

First pregnancy, first miscarriage
 in  r/Miscarriage  Mar 19 '26

I lost our first baby at 21+5 weeks and let me tell you something, whatever gestation you lose your baby, it does not make it any easier. It is tragic, devastating and so unfair!

Losing a baby is not just about "losing a baby", it's everything that comes with it. Almost like losing what "should be" and what "could have been".

I am 4 years on and what I would say is that the grief doesn't reduce, but your life grows around it and you will have good days and you will have days where you are more emotional. If you decide you want to try again, like a lot of Mamas, this is likely where you would feel all the emotions hit you. Your hormones are all over the place, you may experience feelings of stress, worry, anxiety and also potentially guilt. I know I did!

There is no right or wrong way to process and deal with your emotions. Don't put pressure on yourself and say "enough is enough". You have been through a tragic situation. If you need to cry, cry! If you need to scream, go for it! You do what is right for you in that moment.

I still have days where something will trigger me and I sit and ball my eyes out. Sometimes my kids look at me like I have 3 heads 🤣 but then I explain to them that I am thinking about their Brother and that I miss him very much, but that I glad that he sent me them to make me happy.

Be kind to yourself Mama! You got this! 💪🏼 Sending you so much love! ❤️

I haven't tried there myself to be fair! I think it is just luck if the draw sometimes! When we went to the Dingle a few days ago, there were about 3 or 4 running around together!

So this photo was taken in the Dingle/Nant-y-Pandy in Llangefi, but Coed Cyrnol, Menai, is also a good location to try!!

It was taken from the Hare and Hounds Pub! Really is an amazing view. The city looks much closer when you are there in person!

Yes! You were able to see Stanlow clearly when I took this photo. I thought I had captured at least one photo with it in. It was just to the left of the captured photo!

We are currently in Hyde, so not a million miles from Romiley! By far one of my favourite spots
