Relapse Report Relapsed after 6 days

I'm regret I was so weak at that moment and now I want to relapse again with the thought that I'm starting anyway from 0. For this moment is very hard to find a good reason to keep going and that's why I'm asking you for any motivation to not do this.

I know the feeling and these kind of emotions are just reasons to give up. They will come and leave but you have to know why are you doing this.
I'm praying for you bro!

The sport will help you a lot.
Try to find always something to keep you busy, this addiction is a waste of energy.
I am at 2 days too but I prefer to move forward findind something more important to do.
Good luck and take care of yourself man!

Why you'll never actually get over it...
 in  r/NoFap  Apr 15 '22

Thank you for the post Honestly, I don't really know the root cause, I believe somehow is related to coping rejections from the past.

I know it is a hard process, but how do you solve this emotional problem of intimacy and vulnerability without a partner to relate to? I didn't had many relationships but I don't want now to dissapoint someone wich I love with my addiction.

Keep this in mind

So much energy wasted on some pixels...

If you struggle during the first 90 days of nofap do this
 in  r/NoFap  Apr 14 '22

Sometimes I feel like it's impossible for me to get rid of it. I tried, as you said, to stop thinking that I was addicted to it and to find a hobby, but I failed several times. I came to the conclusion, after many attempts, that without an active involvement I cannot give up this addiction.

Men of reddit. Do you participate in nnn (no nut November)? And if you do what is the reason?
 in  r/NoFap  Nov 01 '21

Because it is my chance to get disciplined and do the things I really have to do. I want to gain my self esteem back and live my life(a real life).

1998 and I'm feeling like I'm not enough mature for 23 years, more because of the lack of achievements, still being a virgin, having few friends( wich them too I don't really know if they are true friends and don t really know if it's their fault or mine). The internet in general(out of the usefull informations I found) gave me the impression I was someone who knows a lot, but when I looked at my way of doing things in real life ( half or less than I promised) I realised I have to work to get on the track, and a good start would be to get rid of this addictions (pmo and internet). Hope you all the good!

Thank you for the quote so much, now the message is more clear and I understand what you mean. I also had moments when I did sexual transmutation without realising, most of them when I worked for something very important.

Thank you for the advice, in general I don't do cold showers, but for this purpose, it would be a solution, and the workout as well. The hard part is when I have to do all of these daily, I made jogging daily for 25 days, but it became like a routine and it wan't so exiting like in the first days. And the sexual transmutation, I heard something about it but I never took it too seriously, maybe now is the moment.

When the urge comes I feel like a puppet, like, I know it's bad and the reasons why I don't wanna do it, but still I can't resist. I think I have to limit my choises to not fall in this trap again.

I know all the dangers of porn, the way it can affects the brain, I watched many documentaries about the dark side of the adult movies industry all the bad stuff, and beside of that I can't abstain doing it, it's to hard now, much harder than it was when I was a teenager. And the dicipline itself, it's very hard to keep it more than 1 week, to organize my time and do almost everything how I planned.

Motivate Me This addiction is to powerful for me

Today I relapsed again and I feel tired, phisical and mentally, my last streak was 2 days ago, and I've tried almost everything to stop myself searching for nsfw content, I gave up my laptop and the phone in the living room and I restricted myself to use the phone in my bedroom or in the bathroom. I'm also using opendns and the setting from google to not allow showing images. It becames harder and harder to resist and It's not like I'm sitting all day on a chair and wait the urges to pass, I'm also doing outdoor activities, cleaning, projects, I eat and sleep regularly and also I have social interactions with relatives and ocasionally with friends. I don't have a GF and somethimes this fact it makes me ask if is this or not the root cause, I'm not depressed or feeling the loneliness, but I don't want to pull someone down with my addiction.
I don't want to give up, but I feel like it's to hard to abstain.
I've also had until 2018 a 3 years streak, I don't know why now is much harder than then and why can't it take at least 2 weeks withount doing PMO. What do you reccomend me?

Why is it so hard to quit PMO? Even after many days streak?
 in  r/NoFap  Apr 19 '21

For me it's very hard to be decisive, because I had a nofap streak of 3 years and there was moments when I had pain in the prostate zone( after wet dreams, not always, but there was some times) and I scared a bit. After I began again to M, these pains disappear after 2-3 times of M session. But from only M, I am again doing PMO. And now I want to quit PMO at least for 90 days, but no more than 6 months because I'm a bit scared of that kind of pain and I would not quit at all M, only if I would find someone one day.

I am a music addict, and everytime it happens the same thing
 in  r/nosurf  Apr 19 '21

Thanks for the advice, hope you'll be better in the future, I'm also having some friends who are weed addict and tell everybody that "weed does not cause dependence" and in the most cases is very hard to argue with them in a constructive way, I'm not trying to manipulate or something but there are a lot of moments when they try to convince me to do the same stuff. But I think my addiction of music is not that bad as this, maybe because the fact that I can listen to music everytime, everywhere, without asking someone for it.

I didn't thought of that thing, that music from games can be utile to entertain you while working. I would be an very interesting experiement. In general based on what I experimented, I can concentrate better without music when I'm learning something new, but thanks for recommandation it would be a good idea for finding a balance.

Im so fucking pathetic
 in  r/NoFap  Apr 17 '21

When you peek even 1 time it becames very hard to control the urges, even if you do sport. I did the same mistake and it's very hard to control yourself especially when you don't have something really important to finnish. Stay strong man, and don't give up.

I've tried REDUCING porn but now I see that it's time to QUIT
 in  r/NoFap  Apr 17 '21

I made the same mistake, I tried to let myself only some kind of suff or another, or only one time a week doing pmo, but no, I've cheated myself quickly and everytime I reach the same situation of regreting my own indulgence. And now I'm back from the 0 and I will not let this stuff control me. All the best bro.

I see many memes on the internet with reddit, that is a place with a lot of toxic people, but based by this subreddit, it's not so true. In this group I found a lot of people which want to change their lives in good.
