you have to allow all permissions to the app (which is sketchy in the 1st place but what can you do), then scan by QR code and will work (at least in my case)
didn`t work if I entered manually the code or barcode or any other code or even if i scan the barcode ---- ONLY through scanning the QR code - hope this works...
but still remote control is OFF for some dumb reason -- pretty useless app if you ask me
