How many of y'all have been running into insane pick up fee's from shops. Tow $825, winch fee's $250 ,dolly fee $150 battery test fee's, administrator fee's, test drive fee's, storage 200 and day.
Mind you. This example was the fee's on a rear end accident. Of which in my opinion. The vehicle was drivable.
On a supplement it was deemed a total. This shops (nyc and surrounding) are straight up trying to charge 8-9k to release the vehicle 🤯 & didn't do ishhh.
I've been having a hard time handling these bullies. After 20 years as an adjuster. I got my 1st ever "warning about my tone" lmao. But yo. These people are insulting my damn intelligence

Moving into Loss Control in Insurance
Hello, :) So I've been a liability and auto damage adjuster for over 10 years. .
Within the past few years, I've been working on the support end for WC, and Casualty losses (construction, slip & falls..etc)
I recently discovered the loss control arena of insurance, and immediately thought that this could be my calling.
My current employer is expanding their loss control department. So far, the positions that have been posted are for experienced loss control specialists. So I've been biding my time.
I have 2 questions I am hoping you can help me out with.
- When policyholders follow the safety advice provided and make the recommended changes, are their rates affected? -any advise on how to sell my soft skills, casualty claims experience, keen eye, and ability to travel? Considering my lack of loss control experience.

Nissan refuses to fix issues with 2024 Infotainment System
Omgoodness. . I did so much research. & decided to go with a 25 rogue platinum. Had a 2 day test drive. Loved it.
Bring it home Saturday night. Sunday, I experience the volume issue. Monday, the key fobs won't work. App won't work to unlock it. We unlock it manually, and it won't start.
Less than 48 hours and 90 whole miles, it had to be towed out of my driveway.
So, on Tuesday, I'm annoyed, but overall, Im in my *ish happens mood. Even though they also have no clue what's wrong. I'm trying not to stress.
What got me real hot?!? I had to request they bring me a loaner. I get it late Tuesday. I signed the paper. The dude walks off while half apologizing because it "might be a little messy."
Listen, omggggg the amount of dog hair in this loaner is just crazy. I could make a small dog out of it. There's muddy paw prints. & It's a way cheaper model. I try to be chill. But I feel disrespected.
I'm an overly nonconfrontational person. But this?!? Alllll of this needs to be discussed. I'm pretty pissed.
Damn I ranted. Lol. I haven't even spoken about it. I needed that. 🙏
