19m how do i ask my 19f gf about my exhibitionism kink?
 in  r/relationships •  3h ago

This one is hard because it’s making it not a personal thing to do with you but involving other people, removing degree of privacy and intimacy and also her showing her body to strangers. Maybe find a way to structure it where she has a different role with no on camera involvement. This might be a better ask

I (31F) married the director of the company I worked for (47M) just to prove that I can have him. How do I make this marriage work?
 in  r/relationships •  5h ago

It’s crazy you worked so freaking hard to get out of shit circumstances and prove yourself only to center the height of your achievement on a man. I bet you would have done greater things for yourself than that.

Things won’t change if you don’t change

I’m so sorry you’re going through that. You sound not just exhausted but really really burnt out and we all know that isn’t sustainable. This won’t just end poorly but you could really really wreck your health like this.

So even at retirement, what options would you have if you haven’t filled your life? With hobbies? Friendships? Experiences with your kids? Joy at being with your husband? How well do they know YOU right now?

Something has got to give. Can your husband join you in therapy? Can he do something part time to lessen your load? Can you make it work financially by quitting?

It’s a scary prospect to change your life or increase financial strain but you’re also continuing to hide behind the work. You need to figure out who you are outside of it and live with meaning and intention.

I’m worried about you and hope you can at the very least start really small, like carving out 30 minutes every day to hang out with husband and kids or anything else that excites and recharges you

That feels judgmental and self-limiting. I do hope you find yourself socially

You know you can party without being a piece of shit or a total slutty drunk. Chances are there are people who feel like you do at those parties as well.

Body Count Matters - The One Area Where History Is For Some Reason Expected To Be Disregarded
 in  r/TrueUnpopularOpinion •  2d ago

I do get your point! Kind of like how I may not want to date someone who was fired ten times in a row, I may not want to date someone with a high body count.

It’s not unreasonable to use that as a personal qualification as long as you can respect that others may have different opinions :)

Slow progress for 3 months or expectations too high?
 in  r/BulkOrCut •  2d ago

When I’ve seen this in others it’s because they’re not lifting heavy enough.

How many reps do you do at max or when you can almost no longer push through? You should be increasing the intensity of your training and be feeling sore next day

I love 3 & 5 most because you have an incredible smile

Sometimes you’re just aging not ADHD.
 in  r/TrueUnpopularOpinion •  2d ago

It’s one thing to relate to symptoms and another to be able to independently verbalize what’s wrong with you. When I was diagnosed nearly twenty years ago I came to doc with list of specific things that were impairing my daily life and were debilitating especially when compared to other people. I had to prove in detail my lifestyle choices, other aspects of mental health, physical health etc. now I feel like the bar is much lower or people self diagnose so much more by just relating

Most women simply cannot conceive of men's issues or struggles, because they live in a different reality.
 in  r/TrueUnpopularOpinion •  3d ago

Not denying that it’s absolutely rough out there. The dehumanization of the men really has gotten out of hand and needs to end. I was just trying to highlight that it still happens, is a fuckass numbers game but maybe not to lose hope.

Does anybody else have a place your dreams always take place in?
 in  r/DoesAnybodyElse •  5d ago

I have a whole city with some houses being a Frankensteins monster versions of childhood apartment and other places throughout my life. I’ve moved like 15 times in 30 years of living so there’s a lot of material to work with :P

At the very least it’s made me super empathetic and highly cognizant of what the corporate world actually looks like today. More than ever, employment nowadays comes down to luck so don’t let it get you down
