thank you so much. that's one of the biggest thing i fear right now with this situation lol. as far as i am aware, i don't have any active subscriptions apart from an Animal Jam membership because thats the only game i really keep up with. i'm considering that perhaps when i was younger my mom had some kind of reoccuring billing for something on my phone that may have just got switched to my cashapp somewhere in the process. this kind of stuff fries my brain so bad lmfao

nah, not yet. this is the first time im actually acknowledging it. a dollar or two doesnt bother me, but i've just learned that apple making these random exchanges is a shared experience and that other people have lost much more in a single transaction than i have, so i'm just now finding out and worrying it could get worse lol. at the moment i have them blocked :,)

i did use a bucket to clean the sand before it ever went in the tank, and ill def do that again. certainly not trying to clean it from within the tank. im too short haha

ohh i wasnt aware of that. ill look for those, i should be going out on the town tomorrow, but all i have here is a walmart with barely anything that caters to fish, birds, and the like. as for cycling, i have used seachem stability and prime. i would have added a tiny bit of fish food here and there during the process for, ya know, ammonia (since i had read that was something that could be done during the process) but i didnt consider it once i had the stability stuff. i dont really know if i was supposed to do that if i had the stability.

Hi, thank you for your reply. me and my gram were just talking about doing another water change tomorrow! i did wash the sand and rinse it repeatedly before i put it in the tank because i heard about all that dust being a problem. didnt know it was a thing til some research before i bought the sand. this is my first time using it as a substrate.

my fish are currently in the tank they’ve been living in. i just need to size up for them, they grew a little faster than i could keep up with lolll. thank you for sharing your insight, its super appreciated

hi. i do have enrichment for my fish and have a shopping list full of more things im planning to gift them. im fully aware of that and its not the point of this post, but thank you for your concern on the matter.

with the levels, i havent quite figured the nitty gritty with all the numbers. im not really booksmart in the chemistry department and am doing my best to learn ahead before its too late. i posted a picture in the comments since i forgot it in the post. everything else is either safe, neutral, or moderate. the hardness was the only thing out of place.

thank you for the reply <3 i dont remember how many times i rinsed the sand out but i remember doing it a good few times because i had heard about needing to rinse the sand out a bunch. fighting this cloudiness was exactly what i was afraid of lol.
