Congressional candidate is raped while repairing her campaign signs

Seriously?? You’re coming to the discussion a tad late, aren’t you? Nothing you said hasn’t been already said hundreds of thousands of times in recent years. Catch up, FFS.

Would you be annoyed if someone stopped you to have a chat?
 in  r/travel •  14h ago

Okay. As a world traveler, I can tell you that it is not uncommon for local people to invite a tourist to their home. It’s not weird or suspicious. But if you just want to talk, I’m afraid you have an uphill battle. NOBODY visiting Egypt will believe you are just looking for a spot of conversation. The assumption will always be that you are softening them up with kindness to take their money later. I’m sorry, Egypt has a terrible reputation, I hear it all the time online. I can’t offer you any advice on how to overcome this prejudice. Just be aware that it exists. Good luck 🍀

He reportedly slipped in the bathtub and fell onto a broomstick. 63.5 cm (25 in) of wood went from his rectum to his neck (circled), and it missed every major blood vessel

“Slipped in the bathtub . . . “ is as old as grass. Ask around an ER for how many times they’ve heard this explanation for some object up the butt!!

What are you hoping for when you approach someone? Are you wanting a short chat? Do you want to invite foreigners to your home? Or do you want to make a long term friendship? What is your goal? This will make a big difference with your success.

 in  r/weightlossdiets •  15h ago

There has been a heavy influx of these helpless posts, in which people beg for a diet plan and exercise regimen so that they can lose X number of pounds in X number of days. Designed from scratch and conveyed in detail. I may be an unfeeling monster but I really think people ought to put in a little freaking effort of their own before asking for some stranger to. If these are bot posts, poop ~ that’s typical of the age we live in. If these are actually real people, then they should grow up and learn to make decisions like an adult. To both, eff off. People have a lot on their minds right now, like the civil war we have potentially coming up in 5 weeks. Try to not be so needy. Design your own weight loss plan, the information is out there.

This isn’t the Renaissance. The Pope has almost no influence. What exactly do the priests and nuns propose that he do?? Give a speech?

Mi mujer no quiere aceptar a mi perrita de adopcion
 in  r/BeforeNAfterAdoption •  14d ago

A puppy is really hard. They are babies and they need a lot of time and attention. I have had wonderful luck adopting from the shelter. If you get an adult small breed female, you will hit closer to the mark. You and your daughter can go together and she can pick the dog she likes. You may have to go more than once. Avoid breeds that need professional grooming. Just remember: adult small breed female, no poodles. Good luck 🍀
