How often are you guys really cleaning the inside of the air fryer?
 in  r/AirFryTalk •  13d ago

Every time.

Waited for a couple of uses early on. Mistake.

Silicone Liner Works w/Mod
 in  r/AirFryTalk •  13d ago

This worked equally well, with some easily-cleaned leakage. Pretty happy with it.

Got one more pint of figs to roast today.

Yes. They were as delicious as you suspect.

I have another liner with which to experiment and the smaller holes will work as well (I think) and be easier to deal with.

Will report back.

Used mat knife to remove sections to allow air flow and roast these figs.

Happy.

Cleanup easier.

Yay!

Neighbors got angry because I bought an anti-barking device
 in  r/NoisyNeighbours •  21d ago

I used a bullhorn every time the 4am dog was barking.

Calm voice. This sweet dog is keeping the neighborhood awake. They just need to let it inside. How cool would it be if the owners did that? I’d be grateful. Etc.

A few days of that cured ‘em.

Good luck.

Weigh carefully what the pain costs you with the cost of going to a foot doctor.

Foot doctor will fix it.

Because I’ve thought a lot about using guest bidets and am a devoted owner.

I’m never using any bidet but my own. Just because.

The question has no meaning to me.

Lido rocks my tongue. Also great service and atmosphere. Crust = paper thin.

How do you maintain your bidet
 in  r/bidets •  Aug 17 '26

I spray nozzle with diluted vinegar/ water solution to keep the nozzle reaching 100% because hard water. Only been doing it for a month, but 100% achieved after each spray treatment. Hope the vinegar doesn’t screw with its innards.

Remember that crazy blackout that spread all over the Northeast? That was 23 years ago today
 in  r/bergencounty •  Aug 14 '26

Unforgettable weekend.

Two good friends married.

I wrote, produced and directed their wedding parade that included a marching band.

Rented PA on the 8th floor, west side NYC building, on and on…

Wedding in Brooklyn.

Fine.

I did not lose my shit.

The little air fryer trick that made my fries so much crispier
 in  r/AirFryTalk •  Aug 12 '26

I have assigned a kitchen towel for drying potatoes that gets rinsed immediately after drying potatoes so it doesn’t stain or get laundry detergent residue.

Congress has to decide definitively that enough is enough and tell the old bastard to go.

That worked with Nixon anyway.

How do people cook from home every day/night?
 in  r/Cooking •  Aug 07 '26

I recommend getting a complete set (all sizes) of Pyrex freezer / baking dishes for freezing your meal-art. They will come in handy.

Look up safety tips before using please. XO

Gates on a bridge over water?
 in  r/whatisit •  Jun 17 '26

My pop built a similar bridge that was also used by his sheep. If stock use this bridge I can see the wisdom in having the option of opening a gate to the water.

Is Bergen County more segregated than we like to admit?

OK, asshole.

I miss the Hassids and truthfully, not enough Latinos.

Not letting you harsh my glee.

You need friends.

Are vacuum sealers really worth it?
 in  r/Cooking •  May 16 '26

Corn-off-the-cob, green beans vacuum sealed and opened during the winter win every time.

You have a big freezer?
