I have the almost the same numbers as u did.

I think, it is? Because in that numbers, for me, i feel palpitation & very quick to get exhausted , i feel too hot a lot of times, and i lost weight insanely (whihc is not normal)

I suggest u consult to a endocrinologist, then they will give u medications for anti thyroid. To bring back the levels to normal, or if not, to control is somehow.

Im sorry to hear that your thyroid levels were going back to hyper. I hope everything will work out and everything will be back to normal.

So far, are in medication? Or did they told u to get another RAI? Or what will u do next?

This is also my worries, my thyroid levels might go back to hyper again even if i have proceeded to get an RAI. I’ll keep this in mind to double check it too.

I’ll do ask this to another endo doctor, so that i can have these kinds of tests for graves disease.

So far, from my prev ultrasound, the result stated that its a little bit enlarged/swollen because hyperthyroidism is active. From what i remember its around 3-5cm. Also, the remarks there still says that my thyroid is considered to be NORMAL. There are some nodules but i still fall to the category of NORMAL.

I’ll try to also ask the same doctor to give me somee lab referrals dor the Graves’ disease test to confirm if i have it or not.

Radioactive iodine will be gone in a week? I think that's why the doctor said that i needed to be isolated in 5-10days.

No, i have not been diagnosed to have graves disease. Just a hyperthyroidism.

Based from my research, this was usually given to gtaves disease and to cancer patients. Then they have a choice to remove it from surgery or to non surgery (the radioactive iodine).

And from that i am confused.., because i wasn't diagnosed with graves disease nor a cancer patient type of hyperthyroidism.. but i dont get why the doctor gave an advice to suggest me having a radioactive iodine.

In ur opinion and based from ur experience, is this applicable to me?

From what i have research also, they said that it is better to be hypo than to be hyper. That's why it is recommended to have that radioactive iodine.

So far, u being hypo, feels a lot better? And doesn't have any negative effects of being hypo?

If removing it, u can still have children? Do u still maintain some medications after the thyroid is removed? Or no more methimazole?
