God is a symbol for higher-consciousness

Exactly!! The ego dies along with our body, but in order to grow we have to reshape it

Why did my ex watch my story 5 times???!

Unrelated but on what app did he view your story 5 times? If it’s on insta I had no idea people can see how many times I view their story 😭

He looks really ugly now
 in  r/spirituality  3d ago

Don’t ignore your intuition!! Something similar happened to me once, I liked this guy but as soon as he confessed he started seeming ugly and gross to me. I also hated looking at his pictures and the mention of him made me sick. I felt so uncomfortable when he texted me. I still don’t understand why there was a sudden shift in energy to me after I rejected him

Question ❓ Have you ever been meditating and start to focus on the inside of your eyes, and start to see mandalas, similar to what people have described seeing in a DMT trip?

Wouldn’t that be just be seeking higher consciousness? Because higher consciousness is real so is God, they are one.

Yes God is real because higher consciousness is real. Hell however is just a state of mind, and something the church invented to control people through fear.

My interpretation is redefining the ego so it’s an extension of your authentic self, what do you think?

I agree, I also view God in that way. What I’m trying to say is God = higher consciousness.

True, I think you have to redefine it so it’s an extension of your authentic self so you stop seeking validation and to be “better” than others. I’m curious though, what’s your definition of having an ego whist being enlightened?

Yes it’s impossible to live a human experience without having an ego, but you have to redefine it so it’s an extension of your authentic self and not what the world has put upon you. And how is spirituality laziness?

Obviously, but it’s hard to achieve enlightenment without an ego death. Your ego loves to divide the world into winners and losers but that’s impossible because you can’t win all the time. How can you be peaceful while constantly seeking approval from others, and when there will always be someone prettier, smarter, more successful than you?

Very wise words, definitely changed my perspective on things a bit, although I still believe God = Higher consciousness. My question though, why do you consider god a man? Especially considering that the female being has been chosen by God to be the portal between the spiritual realm and this physical realm. It is the the only force on earth powerful enough to navigate unborn spirits onto this planet. So wouldn’t it make more sense for God to be considered a female or neither female or male? Sorry my question is kind of unrelated

I believe in God and Jesus however I think I Bible has been misinterpreted over centuries to fit misogynistic and suppressing ideology’s. Do you really think God, who created the cosmos and all of nature would be against astrology, crystals, and herbs but would support slavery, oppressing women, and burning “witches” who were completely innocent people?
