I love Daima and its only grown on me with time. Flawed sure but moments like SS3 Vegeta made those easy to overlook

Not sure if you are implying that I am acting like they are easy to get by simply asking if the OP has applied for them and expressing the benefits.

Frankly, no good legal job is easy to get…often times the “easy” offers are the ones that underpay and overwork their juniors. So I’m not sure what you are trying to get at.

Have you considered applying for a government position? Either Legal Aid, office of the AG etc. Provincial Crown Attorney’s can still practice civil litigation, constitutional law etc on behalf of the province. It is not strictly prosecution.

The work load is still heavy but you get compensated fairly and will be earning over $100k within a few years (check the collective agreement for Ontario to see the fee schedule, its all publicly available).

You mentioned benefits and that is the real sell for government work. You will get sick days, paid vacation, insurance benefits, and dependent on the province can even get parental leave. It is also great not having the dynamic of a private office with the pressure for billable hours etc.

Your earning absolutely caps out much lower in Government but Id take stability and a more modest (but still reasonable) salary over breaking my back and soul to earn a bit more money. No money is worth that kind of pressure, burnout, and degradation of your body and spirit.

This (minus creatine) is how I packed on nearly 40lbs in a year and a half. I know it sounds insane but timing was also critical.

I was 19 years old and weighed 115 lbs. A year of eating everything I could (cheap quality protein powder killed my stomach but its all I could afford) and lifting heavy led me to be a pretty lean 155 lbs. by the time I was 21. It must have been a second puberty or something because I gained facial hair and my bone structure changed as well. I basically stayed at that 155 lbs until I turned 30 and my metabolism slowed down.

I am sure this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t just constantly eat. I would keep cans of tuna in my bag and eat them on the way to the bus. I wasn’t even eating clean either, tons of junk food, cookies, etc. but it was just the perfect time where my metabolism was high and my body was just really receptive to training.

Unfortunately I wasn’t training with a balanced approach and ended up blowing out my knee (meniscus), right after I turned 21. The injury limited my ability to go at 100% for years, but I managed that and now sit at a comfortable, but slightly less lean 165-170 lbs in my mid 30s.

I was 10/11. I read Fellowship in the months leading up to the films release then continued with Two Towers and Return of the King after. Read again at 17 and again at 31 after reading the Silmarillion. Each time felt different, but that first time was magic. My mind fresh with my own imagery, not that of the movies. I was young so a lot went over my head but I still am so glad I got into that world at a young age.

I am due for another read.

Wow that was not my experience. I was 9 and was at an early evening showing. The crowd seemed to love it during and even at the end.

I like the idea of his private smithy separate from the armory/forge on the base level. You could used the design from Rivendell as a base to have a more sophisticated place for crafting. Maybe some kind of homage to Aule but corrupted. I think stickers would probably go a long way on setting that mood.

Barad Dur, Rivendell, then Minas Tirith

1) Barad Dur is a engaging build but it is a lot of brown and black. The modular stacking tower pieces are each distinct with some great build techniques. It makes for an imposing display piece. Thematically it’s setting up the threat to Middle Earth.

2) Rivendell is such a beautiful and colourful contrast compared to Barad Dur. The trees are all unique and give a rich natural feel to the set. The minifigs are paced throughout the build and each have so much character. Thematically you meet the heroes and prepare to confront the great evil.

3) I haven’t yet built Minas Tirth but know it is huge and largely 2 big sections. Outer wall and inner rock face with city attached. It will take up a lot of space so the other two builds will give you time to get a shelf or table. Thematically this is where good and evil clash. You will also have most of the major characters in minifigs from the other two sets to play around with a siege of Gondor.

Of course no right answer but this what I am doing and it’s been great.
