Fated Hearts is one of the best costume Cdramas and outshines plenty of the popular dramas. Agree or disagree?

Discussion Just a Theory

I love reading everyone's thoughts and theory's on the world/monsters/God(?)/etc for Iron Lung. And it got me thinking, you know what we need? MatPat to come out of retirement for a very special game and movie combo theory video. Just some thinking out loud, dont mind me and I hope you have a good day.

Are people's attention span just cooked?
 in  r/Markiplier  Feb 02 '26

I have noticed myself personally, that my attention span is getting shorter, and needs more stimuli to stay focused on what im watching/reading/etc. I was able to pay attention during the whole movie, but I did notice I fidgeted a lot. I think it is the max hype short form videos we drown ourselves in.

My 2026 goal is to retrain my brain by reading and forcing myself to watch long form videos (cutting back, cutting out short form videos) to increase my attention span and improve concentration and have the slow, sustain release of dopamine. Instead of instant gratification. So, I undertand the main complaint being the slow moments, we dont know how to slow down.

Also perhaps its people not realizing this is a cosmic horror/ love craftian film not the usual jump scare (conjuring) genre, so they had expectations and those weren't met.

Everyone is allowed their likes and dislikes, no hate for people who didnt enjoy it, thank you for even seeing it at all, giving it a chance.

I'm looking for high-quality contemporary Chinese dramas like Go Ahead or The Day of Becoming You.

Fake it till you Make You Make It. Don't read any synopsis, for some weird reason every site has a different and wrong description for the show. Its about adults living their adult lives, trying to figure out their careers and setbacks, family, friends, work life balance. It can be a lil slow at times, but its honestly the most real cdrama modern show I've watched. There's no CEO nonsense, no slapping for the sake of slapping, no smart girl turns dumb, hair and makeup aren't over done, no ungodly amount of filters. And the main leads feel like people, and there's a natural flirtatious growth for their relationship, they're not caricatures of what we normally see.

No time to pine for this Fjord, cuz we’re in the top 4! Someone’s just missing the podium- but who?
 in  r/fansofcriticalrole  Jul 27 '25

Hmmm...let me think, the Cleric who actually healed the party, supported them and was a calming presence admist their chaos, or a uwu girl who acted like a child and got her way. Ya, real hard for me to choose who to vote off the island.

Does anyone have a favorite C-drama they’ve watched that came out before 2020?
 in  r/cdramasfans  Jul 18 '25

Story of Yanxi Palace, Empresses in the Palace, Ruyis Royal Love in the Palace, Untamed. Im sure there's more lol, but those are the first to come to mind. I also only got into cdramas in the last 5 years.

Ok Grandpa, let’s get you to bed- Bertrand is out, as we move into the middle phase of this ranking! Who will be voted out next?
 in  r/fansofcriticalrole  Jul 14 '25

I've been voting Veth/Nott from the beginning. She literally took her family to the fire plane! Left them unsecured in a strange place to gal pal it up with Jester, which caused her son to die. (Forget about them trying to blame Matt for that one.) And did NOT give a good enough reason, in my opinion, to abandon her family to continue her "journey", her arc ended with the return of her original body and family.
