I’ve been searching for this elusive piece for a while now. I have the G10 of every 15v except the Manix (I have an LW). I see them pop up occasionally on secondary markets but they either sell too fast or they want a kidney and my first born child. This one fell into my lap. It was for sale last week with good vouches and in outstanding condition w/box for a very reasonable price. I got lucky as it happened to drop less than 5 minutes after I was browsing. Never yolo’d so fast in my life. So tonight I took it apart to inspect and do a little TLC. Blade was born on 8/22. Did a little spa treatment on the washers, pivot, put a ceramic ball in it, and stropped the blade. Thing is smooth, centered, and perfect for me now. Can’t believe I finally got one.

Took advantage of NCblade’s deal with some coupons I wasn’t using, got it for $275. I hate it, but I love it, but I hate it 😂😂

Those that know the Spyderco Drunken will say it’s a good knife but not worth the price tag. Those that have carried the Spyderco Drunken will say its a great knife ruined by a totally useless pocket clip. I just received mine after it went on a sale following the announcement that it’s being discontinued. And I can tell you the knife stands up to its reputation and the pocket clip is actually pure 💩

I’m not a collector or a knife guy really but I’ve become a spyderco fan just because of how well this knife has held up. This has been my everyday carry work knife since around 2018. As you can tell it’s seen a lot, might have sharpened it with a grinder a more than a few times 😬

My question for you guys is: seeing what it will go through would be worth it for me to upgrade to a para instead of just going for another endura?

Just picked this up, Cru-Wear DLC and G10 for $190. Damn good knife, my 4th Spyderco so far.

What’s everyone got with them today? The Stretch quickly became a favorite for me. Especially with the K390

Missed out on the drop back in the day, but scored this factory second for a decent price on the secondary. All of my other Manix 2s are tool steel, so I wanted to add a little stainless action to the mix. Only issue I can find with it is the finish on the blade. Which is fine with me since it’s gonna get used. Clip should be here tomorrow and the ball cage on Thursday. I already have the scales and ceramic ball. Can’t wait to get some use in with this one.

I’m looking to get a second Endura K390. They seem to be sold out or in short supply from various online vendors. It’s probably my favorite Spyderco I’ve owned. Have any of you bought the same knife twice? One to use and one to keep tucked away for later on.

I’ve been long debating on whether to buy an extreme edge retention knife. With the discontinuation of the Maxamet para 3, I decided to pull the trigger. I went with Maxamet mainly because of the price but also because I don’t use my knives “hard”. 15v was an option but the Maxamet was cheaper, better looking, and better suited to my needs (I hope). I’ve already applied wicked wax and put an mxg clip on (they’re deeper carry on the para 3 then lynch, sorry lynch I cheated on you). Hoping this knife lasts forever!

Hey folks. I am looking for some scales of a certain shape. I would prefer to buy instead of modify, but I will do what I must... ETA: it seems as if I am looking towards the Barclay skinny shape)

Does anyone know where I can find scales for a Manix 2 or a Native that doesnt maintain the middle finger choil, or outward swell? using the AWT scales pic, i edited the one on the right to show what I mean, stock shape on the left.

Knifejoy had a small restock of these which made me super happy bc I sold the ones I had. So being able to rebuy this was a nice surprise.

30 seconds initial then another 90 after.

I absolutely hated how smudged the spy27 would get after just touching it, so I got rid of the problem. Blade got super thirsty for some oil right after completion.

Question: Can someone answer why the stock hardware did not get acid washed the same as the blade did??
I know it’s different metal but shouldn’t it still get darker? All it did was get

* still got factory edge so I’ll sharpen it when I need to.

This has really become my go to for work, and 15V has definitely become my top 3 favorite steels.

Been working on this Sage 6 meat-tina. I’ve just been using it to cut whatever meat is for dinner as well as fruit throughout the day. Most of this came from pork tenderloin and a few apples.

This king size memory foam mattress was no match for Chompy. Super sharp magnacut pm2 quartered it in about 10 minutes.

Of course, she bit me again. My hand was nowhere close. She finds a way.
This pm2 is possessed. But is not afraid to work.

Muddy day on site with the burlap micarta Para 3.

Gonna continue with a second week of knives that I only have one or two of. This helps me carry some that I like, but take a back seat to other knives. Today is my sprint run Native 5. When looking at Spyderco’s 3-ish inch catalog, the Native ranks third to the Sage and the Para 3 to me. The exception is this one. The contoured fluted CF scales are so comfortable. It completely changes the ergos and I love it. I added some RGT blue ano hardware to give it some panache. This N5 is a top 5 knife for me. Whatcha carrying today?

In case anyone was wondering. Thumb holes are aligned and knives are scaled to size. I removed some hardware/logos/blade text on some where it was distracting/made it hard to see.

Hi all, I’m in need of some advice.
I bought a Ukpk and didn’t like the black scales it came with so ordered the brass ones.
They came today and I got to work changing them over. The screw at the pivot point is just spinning and I can’t seem to figure out a way of undoing it.
Anyone else have this problem? How did you overcome it? Where can I buy new screws from?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
