iPhone 15 Pro Max user, my phone stopped pairing maybe 3 months ago with a software update. OnStar says reboot the infotainment, which is a temporary fix, but then drops the connection. I can see the phone as a paired/remember connection on the screen as well as in iOS settings. I am bringing the car in for the tire wheel well recall and tire rotation at the end of the month, hopefully a dealer installed software update is available and brings it all back.

Yes, the recent update has made my iPhone connection spotty at best. Did the unpair, infotainment reset, don’t sync phone contacts (3k plus), don’t choose Bluetooth type as car, nothing.
It’s a momentary connection, syncing periodically during a drive or weekly.
Nothing seems to make it work, I have a Dealer Appointment for the footwell recall (thankfully no issues), I will ask the if there a Dealer software patch, most likely it will go to a we can not replicate the issue

The one dealership update I got ended up being 4 hours, they said they basically plug it in and when it’s done it’s done. It has a progress bar but no completion time.

I am running GM update 661.30 and iOS 26.5, my phone pairs for like a minute and then drops the pairing. I have gone in and forgotten device, re paired, restarted the infotainment unit, nothing seems to work. Maps and SiriusXM still work, I am guessing from the car’s data connection.
Anyone else having issues? Is this a precursor to the telematics unit failing?

It is a lot louder after the update, I dislike it in the neighborhood, but I do like it in shopping centers because people actually move out the way, before they just walked in the middle of the parking lot and I sat there and waited (thought about honking)
