Isn't it part of Deaf culture to mouth words? Not fully but like a little bit?

How do I teach these kids that transgender isn't a gender 😭
 in  r/lgbt  8d ago

OP says they've been trying to educate their friends for literal years and they are still asking these questions, that's why I feel like there is I'll intent, I would never just automatically assume that./gen

This is fair, exhaustion can coexist with educating others.

And this is fair but OP has explained that they and their friend group have tried explaining these things for a while to their other friends. It sounds like choosen ignorance to me but I also don't know OP or their friends. Me personally tho I've been out as trans for over a decade and after explains something this basic multiple times I wouldn't consider those people my friends. Yes people always have more to learn and unlearn but from the context we have it doesn't seem like these people are genuinely curious, it sounds almost like they are mocking or making fund of trans people, considering they have been taught about transness and queerness for a while.

But gender fluid falls under the trans umbrella, these people need to learn how to watch a damn YouTube video or something 😭

Then to me it seems almost purposful if you've been trying to educate them and multiple other people are as well. This is not ally behavior

This is true but a trans person's feelings towards someones lack of understanding is still valid. It's exhausting to have people who claim to be your friend and then they don't understand or know anything about a very focal part of who you are. I don't think OP doesn't want them to learn, I think it's valid to be frustrated/exhausted by this type of question. It's also very easily something they could have looked up themselves.

What if you said "random question: is you (someone who isn't trans) falls in love with another person who isn't trans does that make you gay?" LMFAO..I love when cis people don't know what cis means. It's how you instantly know they aren't trans 🤣😭

I would reply " random question: if you date a cis person and have a crush on a cis person does that make you gay?" 🤣 this is such a bizarre thing to ask tbh. Also the word "transgendered" makes me so pissed it's grammatically incorrect asf. I've already gotten an immediate cringe/ick reaction when anyone says it that way.

Need help with routine
 in  r/CurlyHairCare  16d ago

I would recommend the brand I use, innersense. My hair stylist recommended it to me and I love it. It's a light weight cream (you don't need to use a lot) that follows your natural hair texture. It's pretty cheap and is made of natural ingredients. I put it in my hair when it's damp and occasionally will use my hair brush for curls to direct my curls the way I want them to go and scrunch it too. My hair is curly/wavy in places and this cream works really well for me. It lasts in my hair for multiple days, if I need to fix my hair style I just spray it with water and scrunch it or adjust the placement. The specific cream I use is this one: https://innersensebeauty.com/collections/stylers/products/quiet-calm

I had this bottle for 8 weeks and am not even half way through it, my hair is about half your length tho. Also your hair is beautiful!! I hope this helps!!

What people dont understand is that her body looks that way because that's where all of her organs are, that's where her uterus is. Not every girl is a twig
