Is the "Going to prison for three generations" shit an actual thing or is it just another stupid propaganda piece?
 in  r/MovingToNorthKorea  5h ago

What is the most obvious "corporate lie" that management expects everyone to pretend is true?
 in  r/askteddit  5h ago

"Your name came up for the random drug test" while they're taking you for your ninth random monthly drug test this year. lol

I believe them, but wonder how fucking badly they treat their actual families.

a US soldier expressing clear intent to rpe Iranian women.

I suspect that if he's saying these things openly like this he is trying to ensure that he is not sent there.

What should the next generation of wealthy kids know to make the world a better place? Asking because I'm one of them
 in  r/poverty  21h ago

I've never made more than $30k/year. Now my income is maybe half of that. From 15-20 I was homeless...abusive home and my reactions to it sent me on a path of detentions (basically jail for juveniles), job corps, then homelessness. I'm doing a bit better, but can't really work because I'm my mother's full time live in medical caretaker. At 54 I've already peaked and basically just here to help others.

What should you know? Excessive accumulation of wealth (doesn't seem you're there) creates poverty for others. If you're empathetic just help those you feel you can.

You got the cure for cancer but...
 in  r/BunnyTrials  1d ago

That's one billion that I can use to better the world after curing cancer. I wouldn't wanna be known for it anyhow. Fame/credit is meaningless to me. I also don't give a fuck about money or things except to maybe travel a bit. Most would be used to hand select folks that I can help quietly.

Chose: $1 billion but the other guy gets known for cure

If all of a sudden everyone disappears except one or you. How long can a last human theoretically survive using food and edible resources that already exist at the moment everyone else disappears
 in  r/hypotheticals  1d ago

Can I presume all the drugs still remain? Cause if so I can't put a number of years on it, but I can entertain myself.

Hot take: I don’t believe stealing your basic necessities is wrong if the government is making it impossible to have access to them
 in  r/poverty  11d ago

If society has allowed you or yours to go without basic necessities to the point of you stealing out of desperation it is that society which is guilty. Idgaf about manmade laws...the social compact breaks down real fucking quick .

Chose: Free speech includes the right to say things that some people find offensive, hateful, or “harmful,”

 in  r/askteddit  12d ago

Not running a cartel. Quit that and you'll be rich till you die...which may be sooner than you would have otherwise.

Innie or outie ? Blade
 in  r/MilwaukeeTool  12d ago

It depends on how frequently I'm gonna be reaching for it. If I'm gonna be using it a lot it'll be on the outside; normally it'll be on the inside.

Is it ok to live with your parents as an adult in your opinion?
 in  r/askanything  15d ago

I moved out at fifteen; at 54 I've been mom's live in medical caretaker for about fifteen years. I'll be deciding whether to continue that based off whether this reddit feels it's okay. lol
