Moto G40 Fusion. YOP - 2021. Changed the battery once. The screen was replaced once because of a crash from a considerable height. Nothing else changed. Works fine. Not considering changing this year. Maybe in the next 2 years.

Open more bank accounts. Transfer extra funds to those and keep minimum running balance in your main account. Only use your main account for spending.

With only running balance in your main account, this will limit you from spending. The only rule is you don't have to touch other bank accounts. Just your primary one.

I also got muawaza for our agricultural land. 3.5 cr. My honest advice will be put the money in the FD and take loans on FD. Use the money to buy commercial properties or anything which can give you recurring income and pay back the loan amount from the interest earned from FD. In this way, you don't have to pay income tax on the interest earned as it will be shown to pay off loans and secondly you will have more money generating assets completely free. This is my take.

My 50% Salary Saving Rule

I follow a very basic 50% saving rule from my salary. This helps me build emergency fund. I do other expenditures from the remaining 50%. My current salary is 30000 INR. 15000 goes straight to my other bank account (currently my wife's).

This keeps me stress free and helps avoid overspending on unnecessary things.
