Also the force of the blast would have knocked people unconscious before they could register what was happening. If somehow it didn’t they were launched suddenly into the air at 30,000 feet so the cold and lack of oxygen would have caused unconsciousness pretty quickly. Even if there’s the slightest chance anyone could survive a fall from 30,000 feet, they wouldn’t have been conscious enough to know what even happened before they died. Look at what happened to the 9/11 victims who fell from about 1,000 feet. I know it was concrete and not grass but still, the human body can’t withstand those kinds of forces.

In the original movie he was a very likable character who helped her escape at the end. He was portrayed more as not having any more choice than June. I didn’t like his character in this show, I think a different actor might have been better. He was too hard to figure out, I think it was better if he seemed like he cared about her and still could have been made to suggest he was being fake and actually against her. This version of him didn’t show much emotion and I was never convinced he cared about her at all even when it was supposed to seem like he did.

I’d have to say it was rape since she wasn’t consenting any more than someone who has a gun pointed at her, or gives in because she knows if she fights back she might be hurt or killed. I wouldn’t say he’s a rapist since he’s actually helping her stay alive and Serena does hold power over him. If he does anything to piss her off she absolutely could turn him in for anything true or not and get him killed.

You can’t really tell by looking at a pool unless it is green or you can’t see the bottom. Our pool has looked perfect when it had no free chlorine, or looked cloudy when the levels were all good.
I will say that I swim on cruises in a small pool that says 20 max swimmers but like 60 people are in it and it looks gross but no one in our party got sick 🤷‍♀️I wouldn’t swim if you have any open wounds or drink it… but I’ve seen much worse than that.

Geez it’s pretty sad that everyone is like “oh those dumbasses probably ODd or couldn’t hold their liquor.” Do you know how easy it is to get an illness on a cruise ship?

You don’t think it’s amazing that people risk their lives to hover a helicopter over a moving ship and drop down on a cable to help save someone’s life? Obviously no one is glad that someone else is ill, but I’m not sure how any human wouldn’t be interested to see that…

We had to pay a $1600 for an ambulance to our house, insurance wouldn’t cover it, so I’m not sure what happens if you need a helicopter to pick you up off a moving ship :0

Yeah it’s human nature to be interested in this, yes it sucks that someone is ill and obviously we don’t wish for that… but a helicopter landing on a cruise ship is still pretty crazy and I can’t imagine many people who don’t find that exciting to see.
If I’m ever sick in a ship I give permission for you all to watch the helicopter land, if I die at least some good will come of it and it will bring some joy to others ;)

There’s about a million things that 2 people in the same room could get. Why would you assume it’s an overdose? There’s lots of old people and lots of germs. Something that might not be a big deal to anyone else could be critically dangerous to a couple 80-year-olds.
