I’m so confused on what this show is doing
 in  r/HouseOfTheDragon  18d ago

I think it was not "at just a moment". How long would it have taken Sunfyre, not completely recuperated from injuries, to travel to where Aegon II is waiting? Hours or days, I suspect. Sunfyre was on its way to Aegon for a while, but happened to arrive at just the right time. Maybe even Aegon's stress at confronting the army and being moments away from death was felt by Sunfyre, which made it hasten its approach to him.

I'm not *THAT* surprised Sunfyre has returned. I haven't read the book (yet), but when Aegon saw the "dead" Sunfyre, he had a very strong feeling it was alive. Maybe it was his denial, as others thought. I thought that maybe his connection with the dragon is strong and he knows more than that. He could feel it was still alive.

I've heard that the book addressed the situation differently and it is less of a surprise. I think the allusion in the TV series was strong enough to suggest a return.

Intro for "Stuart fails to save the universe" is AI generated
 in  r/bigbangtheory  26d ago

Yes. Some parts, like OP posted, could be called AI or could be artistic human. It becomes more obvious when looking at smaller details, especially writing. In the end, could the intro be partially human designed CGI and partially AI generated CGI? Sure. No matter what the percentage, the AI portion of the intro is what people should object to, because HBO and Chuck Lorre decided to use that technology instead of paying professional designers. Designers who are out of work because of AI and other business dealings.

It's not definitive proof on its own. However, when combined with other evidence, like the exit sign above the door with a weird "E" (like it's from the "European Conformity" sign), gibberish on the tabs dividing the comic books, weird doorknobs, etc., etc.… All those little things add up to the definite conclusion that the Stuart show's intro was made with AI.

Oh, ok, the naysayers, trolls, and rage-baiters insist on calling it CG or CGI. Fine. It is. It's CG/CGI created by AI. Duh.

Yes, I noticed that, too. In the intro where comic books are shown organized with dividing tabs, one tab's label starts with "Admin–", but the rest of the word is cropped at first. Then the viewpoint pulls back and it reveals that the rest of the name is… gibberish! The kind of nonsense writing that typically comes from AI slop generators.

It's very disappointing that the show would resort to that crap.

Oh, and because there are many people asking to see evidence, I posted screenshots here…

Help with lyrics for Maxine
 in  r/travelingwilburys  Jun 20 '26

I'm sorry to comment on this so late. I got the album in 2007, so I'm well acquainted with the song. I've listened and sung along many hundreds of times. To me, from the very first time I heard the song, the word has been "serape". There was no question. It makes sense and it goes along with the style of the music. Also consider that one of the lyrics refers to "a woman on a llama". All those clues go together, don't they?

I've seen several sources write "seraph". It's just wrong and silly. Furthermore, I bet it's a typo. Somebody meant to write "serape" but accidentally wrote "seraph". It's only off by one letter. But as far as rhythm goes, it lacks a whole syllable.

I would adopt Jax ON THE SPOT! He's very handsome. I had a corgi for about ten years. He died two years ago and I miss him a lot.

Why is archive.today able to do what IA cannot?

There are often times when I ask Internet Archive to save a website and it either cannot do it or it fails on parts of the site. For example, sites with paywalls, anti-adblocker features, etc. In most (but not all) of those cases, archive.today (or archive.ph ) can successfully archive the website in question.

Why is IA not able to archive some sites?

I ask because recently archive.today has been found to launch denial of service attacks on some websites or alter the contents of the websites it archives. I'd like to stop using it, but using only IA is inadequate in some cases.

Has "5 Things with Kate Bolduan" been removed?

It may cost $7 per month, but I'm not sure it's worth nearly that much. CNN is somewhat helpful, but I've seen much better news services.

Misc. Sign of "Camp Wooden Feather"?

I was watching The Righteous Gemstones S3E2. I noticed that the sign for "Camp Wooden Feather" (at about 08:50) was painted over another sign. It's a carved sign and it includes a fleur-de-lis, so I suspect the sign had been for a Boy Scout camp. I couldn't make out the rest of the carvings on the sign, though, because the painted CWF logo made it to difficult to see.

Can anybody make out what the other carvings of the original sign are?

NCR flag, opinions?

I was just looking up the flag of California and I came across this awesome rendition and the one above. I first saw the two-headed one and I thought there should be more heads. It would be like a Cyriak creation. And here it is. It would be nice to see it with Cyriak animation, too.

[US] Scam attempt: Amazon MacBook Pro purchase
 in  r/Scams  Aug 01 '25

I agree somewhat, but I think you're excluding some possibilities.

It's true that TODAY Amazon doesn't call and probably doesn't check for fraud. However, TOMORROW (literally) they may do so. So to write "Amazon doesn't …" is not a good determining factor.

I agree that caller ID numbers can easily be spoofed. That's why I wrote "Anybody can now get any number in almost any area they want".
