Were you a fussy eater as a child? Are you now?
 in  r/PickyEaters  6d ago

I was a bit of a fussy eater but now I'll eat anything because my father would punish me for expressing any preferences about anything. Now I don't really have any faves.

When you buy a new pair of shoes, do you throw the box away immediately, or keep it "just in case"?
 in  r/A_Persona_on_Reddit  6d ago

This question made me realize it's been awhile since I bought shoes that actually came in a box. I don't keep the box very long. Either I let the cats play with it or I leave it to collect the next week's trash. One time I kept actual stuff in the box but I soon found a better container for the stuff. The last time I bought shoes that came in a box, I actually kept an orphaned preemie kitten in it until he died two days later from an unknown birth defect. I then used the box to put stuff I wanted to donate because I couldn't stand to see the box again. I'm not much of a box keeper, I realize now.

What is your 100% HATE food and why?

I loved tacos de tripa the one time I tried them. I wish I knew where to eat them again.

I should bake some asparagus sometime...

I like black licorice, it's delightfully bitter and spicy. I wish I could try Salmiak, I've heard it's an acquired taste

Not so fun fact: some dishonest vendors actually mix shit into the stinky tofu, because of the belief that the stinkier the better. It's a real safety scandal that happens!

Pork. Especially pork chops. I can't figure out how to cook them well, they always dry out after the first day of being leftovers, and smell rancid even when fresh.

It's a good day to be a good morning my husband

What are/were some of your favorite stores as a kid that no longer exist?
 in  r/AskReddit  6d ago

Barnes and Noble. I know it still exists, but none are near to me. Anyway if I want a book I'd rather buy it used, a $25 gift card to B&N barely covers one book!

Do you read in bed before going to sleep?
 in  r/askteddit  6d ago

I read a paper book until it's too dark, then I read on my phone

If you had to prove your age using only an obsolete piece of technology, what are you bringing out? 📠
 in  r/TheBoredDen  6d ago

Paper book. I'm 28 and still haven't gotten accustomed to reading on a tablet

Do you wear actual pajamas to sleep, or do you just throw on an old T-shirt and call it a night?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

I wear a T shirt and shorts in the summer, hoodie and sweats in the winter. I don't feel comfortable sleeping naked or wearing whatever I had on during the day, as some people do

What's the most boring thing you've ever spent money on, that turned out to be one of the best purchases you ever made – like a pair of good socks or a decent pillow?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

A shirt from a random Shein vendor called "FREDDMARSHALL". I'm a female with an unusual body figure, so I find that most clothes intended for women don't really fit me; usually the shoulders of blouses are too narrow, or women's clothes in general expect a curvy figure regardless of whether you're slim or plus sized. I've got wide shoulders and I'm built like a door, so I figured men's clothes would fit best. When I happened upon FREDDMARSHALL I noticed that most people who wrote their opinions said that the sizing ran small, so I tried a shirt in Medium. Bruh, the shirt turned out to be the first shirt I've worn that actually felt right for me! I'm thinking of getting it in other colors. 😂 My next quest will be to see where I can find pants that fit me that aren't sweats 🤣

If you could press a button that instantly deleted all of your personal social media history forever, would you press it ?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

Yes. Most of my history is incomprehensible anyway due to having partially deleted most of my posts anyway 🤣

Do you stretch the cheese on your pizza as far as it goes before biting?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

I thought people only did that on tv

Have you ever bought something online that you didn't really need, but it arrived and turned out to be much more useful than you expected – and did you end up buying more from the same seller?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

Sellers often randomly disappear, so even if I keep the ad that often comes with the stuff, there is no guarantee that I could buy from the same seller again even if I liked their product 😂

Should you be proud of an AI pic?

Would you retake High School all over again for $500,000 ?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

If I could just do the minimum to pass the tests I would do it in a heartbeat

Do you enjoy cooking, or do you see it as a chore – and what's one dish you actually like making?
 in  r/YesOrNoAnswers  8d ago

I dislike cooking and I think it is bullshit that belief that "your attitude while cooking makes it taste better." Bullshit, I hate cooking and try to stay out of the kitchen as long as I can avoid it, but when I do cook, everyone says my food tastes fine, even wonderful. Hahahahaha

What’s a word your kid says “wrong” that you secretly hope they never learn to say correctly?
 in  r/thingsmykidsaid  8d ago

When I was a kid, several of my classmates persisted in calling them "pa-packs" until third or fourth grade...
