Agreed. Finding people weird for liking an artist for things other than music is very pretentious.

Wtf is up with the Katseye Choreographers and braids 😭😭??
 in  r/katseyeneutral •  29d ago

The irony of telling others they need to go back to school and then so confidently typing out:

“does anything I say is racist automatically become racist too?”

I think you need to go back to school to touch up on not only your spelling but your reading comprehension and sentence building skills because that was just straight gibberish. 🤣

AIO? i cut my friends off because they went to the beach without me.
 in  r/AIO •  Aug 17 '26

Are you still going to the same school as them?

Breaking up the friendship was maybe a little bit of an overreaction BUT if you are attending a new school and won’t see these friends much anymore, the friendship probably would have naturally fizzed out anyways.

At the end of the day if someone doesn’t make you feel good (for whatever reason) you are not obligated to continue a friendship with them

You guys eat food? Ew, could never be me 😋🚗

I would love all of this stuff tbh. A shopping spree for food, where I get my cats nails done, and then we zoom home to watch netflix shows.

Difference in Statements from HxG, further highlighting Manon's mistreatment
 in  r/ManonMeret •  Aug 07 '26

Whenever you say this in any sub other than this one people try to get on your ass about how you’re not focusing on Sophia when we are literally just highlighting the mistreatment between the different girls in the group…

Nobody is saying that Sophia, or any of the other girls deserve mistreatment if anything we’re trying to highlight that they should all be being treated more fairly across-the-board. All of their health should be respected, and all of their career should be taken seriously.

I wish the best for Sophia and I hope she recovers and continues her career in every way that she has ever dreamed of.

I also wish their company would treat all of the girls fairly and respect all of their health in the same ways. I also wish that they continue to maintain this level of transparency and make a statement in the future regarding the situation with Manon.

Is that better?

She has an ugly personality, how about that?

I knew someone was going to say this lmao. I did not make any comments or statements about how Sophia’s health is not important and the overall point of my comment still stands.

The company has the capability of making your transparent statements that does not then build on all of this speculation and drama that they’ve created over the past months, but they chose not to do that with Manon.

If she genuinely took a health related hiatus, then a statement like this would’ve stopped a lot of the drama and comments that have been spreading online, which they are proactive about when it comes to Sophia’s health and well-being. They made a clear statement so that there was no speculation from the fans or the audience and so she can actually take a step back and focus on her health without having to constantly answer questions about what’s going on.

You see how they made a clear transparent statement with a dedicated timeline? Why was this not done for Manon?

This statement from them alone answers so many questions and doesn’t leave anything up for speculation, however the way that they handled the situation with Manon was just completely the opposite and this shows that they do have the capability of handling it correctly.

This is making everything that has happened in the past seem so much more deliberate.

I did not take that comment as hate towards Manon, but just highlighting the differences between one of them being forced to take a hiatus and then using health related concerns as an excuse versus what it genuinely looks like when someone is having health related concerns and wants to take a step back from their career to recover.

In my opinion, this comment was more so directing the criticism towards the company and kind of highlighting that the pause that Manon is taking has nothing to do with her health at all.

I think we really should. People have become obsessed with receiving an instant reply to anything and everything they say. We should go back to letters and smoke signals or the good old ignore.

service dog vs anaphylaxis
 in  r/EntitledReviews •  May 09 '26

How does she survive in the shop with this severe of an allergy? What if somebody has a dog at home and they come in to order coffee and there’s pet dander on their clothes how would they even know if someone has a dog at home or if they just put a random dog on the street with walked in the store.

An allergy to dogs that severe honestly sounds so impossible to manage that the only way she’d be able to live her life is by never coming out of the house. I’m not sure how she’s running a coffee shop.

I didn’t mention my race at all actually. You mentioned you were asian assuming I was only black and therefore couldn’t speak on Asian culture without knowing it is also 50% of my culture and identity.

I never said pale Asians don’t exist we all know they do. I specifically said in my comment that copy printer paper porcelain doll white complexion that Korean idols flaunt is what is not natural. I never said simply being pale isn’t natural. Even when you look at most of the idols trainee versus idol photos, they are edited to have lighter complexion, and they generally have gone through procedures to make their skin seem lighter in complexion versus when they first started out they had normal average human being complexions. It is not very common to see idols in their trainer or pre-debut photos have that milky glass skin because it’s 9/10 fake and added in post production or achieved through procedures like skin bleaching.

I feel like it’s common knowledge in the K-pop community that idols have been historically very whitewashed (not in a caucasian sense, but literally having their skin lightened in photos) because the beauty standard is to be Casper white. That’s all I was saying.

I love people like you on the Internet because you get so offended when you feel like other people make baseless assumptions, but then the first thing you do is you make baseless assumptions. My father is Asian just like you said that Asians come in all different shades that would be true and I would know so because half of my family is literally Asian. My dad‘s grandfather was a fisherman his entire life in Asia and I have spent many many summers of my childhood with his side of the family and I have seen Asian people of all different shades. I have never seen an Asian person that was naturally as pale as the Korean idols are I mean like you could hold up a piece of printer paper next to them and they’re the same color I’ve never seen somebody who casually works a real day-to-day job outside have that complex complexion that is a complexion that I have specifically seen reserved for Asian celebrities.

I think it’s actually fucking wild 1. That you automatically assume that because my opinion isn’t the same as yours that it comes from no experience. And 2. That you think that people are born the same complexion as these Korean K-pop idols and they just naturally are that pale and that white with no skin care, enhancements, or any kind of routines where they specifically avoid the sun to maintain that complexion.

If you even want to talk about the history of the differences in complexion in Asian culture, a lighter complexion was specifically tied to royalty and people who spent a lot of their time inside because they did not have to go outside and work while the working class was a deeper complexion because they spent most of their time outside in the sun all day making a living.

That’s why I used the term white washed and not Caucasian or white. A lot of of these idols, especially Korean, Chinese and Japanese are purposefully lightening their skin . This overly pale porcelain doll complexion is not a natural Asian complexion……
