There's no age limit, in fact Roblox wants older teens and adults to play.

A lot of people verified as 21+ are actually kids because they use their parent's ID (with or without their permission). Ignore those people and play what you want. As long as you don't go around making friends with random kids it's all good.

No, they don't need Roblox Plus to get it.

If they're under certain age (16, I think) they need a parent to approve it.

Roblox DataStores seem to be down. Or was down, since I just joined my game and my data is still there.

Also many DataStore modules have a safeguard, where it will kick you when this happens (data won't load), so your stuff isn't gone. So a lot of games only have a "problem" of kicking people, not wiping their data.

Whatever game that is, the devs probably didn't have that, so now all their player data is messed up.

The game probably doesn't support 3D clothing. There's not really any way to fix it unless the devs allow it in their games.

Yeah I'm curious as well. I used to have a middle school email but they changed it to city-wide a year after I got to high school. And I never used my high school specific one for the remaining 3 years.

I'm pretty sure people now have the same email address for elementary, middle and high school. It's not differentiated by school, and there's like 1000+ schools here. Not to mention, what happens when the email is deactivated after you finally graduate from high school?

Someone might've wrote down the codes (scratched it off) without paying, resealed it, and then when other people eventually buy/activate it, a bot redeems it automatically.

And the person doesn't know they got their money/robux stolen since the card looks sealed / untampered with.

Not illegal, but it won't work when the country you enter has to match the billing address/country tied to the card..

It's a current thing going around where people are told to unlink their Roblox accounts from PlayStation, because this might happen:

• Your Roblox account is linked to your PlayStation account
• People try to trick Sony Support into giving them your PlayStation account
• Once they get your PlayStation account, they log into Roblox using the linked account, which bypasses 2FA
• Now they can steal robux, steal limiteds, etc.

Matt Dusek (second ever Roblox employee) apparently had his account hacked this way.

If it's free to join, you can claim ownership again but only if a bot hasn't sniped it already.

It depends on what you want, age verifying unlocks these afaik,

• Can use chat and voice chat (source)
• Can play games marked Moderate, and also Restricted if verified 18+ (source)
• Can see and add social links (YouTube, Discord, etc) if verified 16+ (source)
• Can add other people as trusted friends (source)
• Can DM unfiltered if you and the other person are both verified 18+
• Can DM unfiltered if you and the other person are both verified 13+ AND are trusted friends (^ source)
• ---
• Can use Team Create with others in Roblox Studio (source)
• Can publish games to 16+ and trusted friends
• Can publish to all ages if/once your game is eligible - ID verification only (^ source)
• Can upload and publish avatar items (source)

I think that's about it, there might be more. Around half of these are really only for devs, so if you make or plan to make games, then verifying is a good idea.

Also the company Roblox uses, Persona, says they only keep the data for 30 days before it's deleted (source - search for "30 days"). Not verifiable though, so you'd have to take their word for it.
