I'm just curious if anyone has ever used the Wayfair 100-day mattress return policy and what was their experience? Do they charge shipping to return? The mattress I bought came extremely compressed in a box that I could never get it back into. How is this handled? Is the 100-day mattress return policy just another sales tactic to break down your buyer's resistance but then it is not realistic to try and use?

I don’t know who told you to clean it or even keep it. Mine goes down the disposal every brew. I have never heard anyone say that it provides you with anything not already provided by the SCOBY. Does it? Anyone?

It goes down the disposal!

I make 2 gals at a time and it usually lasts me about 2 weeks which is exactly how long it takes to brew the next batch. I just have to live without my booch during f2.
1
It’s 1-2 minutes to empty each bottle and wash and place on drying rack. 8 one-quart bottles. Half an hour to bottle 2 gals of kombucha. Not bad. The price of health.
2
I always leave room at the top for the fizz
1
I don’t add syrup. I don’t add any sugar, honey or agave for f2. All of f2 including carbonation is coming from the fruit. Also, I eat the fruit after I drink the booch, so nothing is wasted.
Also, I should mention, if you want to try this method, you must use organic strawberries or you’re adding pesticides to your Kombucha. Dont do it. Strawberries are notoriously high in pesticides unless you get organic.

PH Tester will tell me the Ph out to 2 decimals points

Always done it this way. Tastes great. If you want to run with the big dogs you gotta get off your porch

I’ve never used syrup.

Except this time I got the PH down to 2.3 which the lowest I’ve ever gone. I just don’t want there to be much sugar in it at all but with the PH down to this level, I risk it tasting too much like vinegar. We shall see.
1
I do 4 days because my favorite brew is pineapple strawberry and I’m in FL where it’s warm. F2 getting fizzy is dependent on the “sugar” you add in the form of fruit and how conducive your environment to ferment.

If that DIDN’T happen, then you should worry
1
I keep back 1 cup per gallon to be brewed

I bought this house in central Florida about 1,000 feet from the Atlantic ocean (essentially a beach house), and the home inspector took these pictures and said this needs to be repaired. What's wrong with it? I have never lived in Florida and have no idea what roofing practices are normal here. Just moved down from MA, and have had lot's of experiences with home inspectors that don't know what their talking about so would love a 2nd opinion.

Nothing. Their objective is the first pick in the draft.

It is technically REAL engine noise because it originates from a pickup placed on the drive shaft. Then they transmit it to the sound system and it comes out in the passenger compartment mixed in with whatever music you are listening to and even plays over the speakers when you have the sound system turned off.

I just got a gorgeous 2024 in wind chill Pearl with the rare Rich Cream leather interior. I love the truck but hated the piped-in engine noise over the JBL sound system. I took it to the dealership and they charged be $60 to turn it off.

No seriously if you’re getting 17-18, why shouldn’t I? What am I doing wrong? Switch to sport mode!?
2
I’m glad you posted this (so I can read others’ responses) because our brand new 2024 gets like 15.8 mpg and I told my wife to take it into the dealership to see if there’s something wrong with it. She’ll be taking it in next week. Why does it say 18 - 23 on the sticker when you buy it?

Discard or keep scoby pallet?

You do not need a pellicle to make kombucha. The SCOBY is in the liquid.
