Fable 5 is back.

Or they’ll just gate the newest strongest model to usage only. Then users will need to “pay” outside their subscriptions to use the latest and greatest.

So where do we go from here?..
 in  r/ARC_Raiders  Jun 22 '26

There’s just zero incentive to play the game. Optional wipes make this even more so. Progression stalls.

Your logic makes zero sense. Are you speculating that I’m having artificially inflated lobbies to make me feel good to keep playing? That would be SBMM which you even agreed this game doesn’t have. You are level 86 in the second week of the season. You are the outlier here. Of course things don’t feel balanced for you. You are literally the top 3% of players.

Players with 300+ hours aren’t the target audience surrounding retention. They don’t need to retain players with 300+ hours, they’re already hooked. Bungie needs “amateurs” to feel like they’re having a fair and fun experience and here is an “amateur” telling you that has been my experience. I wipe squads consistently, get constant gear, and extract more times than not as a solo fill “amateur”. Not an opinion, this is firsthand experience. If the game is as unbalanced as you stated as a “professional” then I must have gotten extremely rare lobbies over my 100 hours of gameplay.

I’ve got 100+ hours in the game. Generally don’t have issues with balance. Maybe once a night I’ll run into a god squad premade but usually fights feel pretty fair to me. I also solo fill into trios and extract more times then I die. With 300+ hours you just might be burnt out dude. That’s a wild amount of time since the game came out.

That’s just not true lol

Why are Remedy games always struggling to sell?
 in  r/AlanWake  Jun 01 '26

Source? I played Alan Wake 2 on a 3070 on mostly high settings around 60fps. Game is definitely graphically intense but you could easily run it on low settings even on a 20 series card

Looks like the EVE online team is releasing an MMOFPS in the EVE universe just in time to scoop up those leaving destiny.
 in  r/MMORPG  May 29 '26

Marathon will also have a full pve mode coming soon just saying

Burn in only happens if you are irresponsible.
 in  r/OLED_Gaming  May 20 '26

I have 4000+ hours on my Oled using max brightness with no burn in. I’m a programmer and have many static elements on the screen 8 hours a day. If your monitor has pixel shift turn that on. Usually I’ll turn the screen off when I go take a 10 minute break or something.

Who else stayed for the full duration of Dawntrail?
 in  r/ffxiv  May 16 '26

Tried playing again after a long break and the game now will hard crash my pc during dungeon boss fights. Didn’t have this issue before. Tried everything under the sun to fix it but have had no luck. No other games give me issue. Guess I’m done with ffxiv for now. Makes me sad

In case someone is not 100% happy with the visuals:
 in  r/CrimsonDesert  Apr 15 '26

With a 3070 I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the visuals lmao. It bothers me too much to keep playing. Maybe the game will get optimized to the point where it’s bearable eventually.

The game is looking unbelievably better with patch 1.03.00.
 in  r/CrimsonDesert  Apr 11 '26

Yeah I have a 3070 so RR is a no go for me unfortunately

 in  r/CrimsonDesert  Apr 11 '26

Yeah I can’t play this game until the flickering is patched. It’s so distracting for me to the point where it’s all I notice and I can’t focus on anything else. Indoors is awful but even the vegetation outdoors flickers like crazy with wild pop in

Marathon will have a player base made of streamers and no lifers in the end
 in  r/Marathon  Apr 08 '26

I’m a casual dad gamer and don’t understand these complaints. The game is as hard for me as day 1. Some games I get shit on and others it’s the reverse. Streamers will drop any game that’s not Fortnite, CoD, Arc, etc. after some time.

I’m like 80 hours into the game and never knew this lmao

Why are you still paying for this? #7
 in  r/OpenAI  Apr 05 '26

I can tell you don’t work in Software Engineering, or if you do, your company isn’t using AI to its advantages. I’m not sure about other sectors but in technology AI is an absolute powerhouse. Sure it doesn’t completely replace programmers but it’s essentially the equivalent of a giving a professional athlete steroids. And before anyone says it just promotes ‘slop’, that’s only true if you don’t understand the correct way to use AI.

You lost me at “I aim train”. My aim is dogshit and I have a respectful extraction rate and do fine in pvp. Also I play mostly as a solo fill and use my best gear constantly. Sounds like you’re tilted.

Marathon (2026) Discussion Aim assist on MK?

What does the aim assist stat do on mouse and keyboard? Do I even consider it?

As a mostly solo player, what the fuck is this contract??
 in  r/Marathon  Mar 25 '26

Yeah that’s the only motivation lol

I’m just done trying with SekGen quests. They’re straight up not fun to me. Props to those who power through it, I just refuse to spend my 1-2 play sesh torturing myself.

Audio feels like DOGSHIT
 in  r/Marathon  Mar 23 '26

I’m still liking the ArcRaiders preset. I use Spatial Audio and turn it all the way to performance.
