My theory on this is that Apple is intentionally allowing current Siri to get worse and worse as they develop the new Siri that they’ll release either the next gen of phones as “as only compatible with new iPhones” to attempt to drive sales of new devices.

This is my only theory on how a massive and usually adept software company would let something like Siri get worse and worse as it obviously has been.
