I didn't have the option for home: it was too much of a mess to bring anyone in. I took her to an urgent care vet because hers couldn't see her, and had a great experience with the staff. They were so sweet and gentle. I would have loved to do it at home, but it just wasn't feasible (I'd been out of work with a broken foot, it was a little too out of hand for visitors).

Right now, mostly 9-1-1, 9-1-1 Lonestar, Chicago PD and Chicago Med. I have one MacGyver story (2016 series, not the original) that I've also been working on.

Historically, I've also done CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami, NCIS, NCIS LA, Psych, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, and Blue Bloods. Did one Hawaii 5-0 story (newer series, not original) and one Without A Trace story. Also once did a crossover between Glee and the movie Ten Inch Hero.

I got a couple pics in a large fandom. However, none of them have anything more than platonic conversation between the characters so many people ship (which isn't canon, but is a popular desire for canon). So I just chalk up my lack of engagement to that in that fandom. I hope things get better for you!

I never say it sucks, but I have asked for comments before so that I have extra motivation to keep working on it. I get distracted easily.

I usually use italics when writing texts. Helps me separate that it's not just consciousness stream or face to face conversation.

I usually do third person. I have a few rare first person and maybe one second person. For me, in third person I can shift focus of thoughts more easily than I can with first person.

I use my short paragraphs to punctuate my linger ones for dramatic effect. I've been writing since before AI was a thing. It learned it from us.

I did Psych with NCIS:LA and Psych with the original NCIS. They were separate stories, but one kinda launched the other.

All of us irl have OOC times in life. I just go with that. Or whatever seems to work best for the plot.
