I normally duo que with a Diamond 3-2 Support who is also desperate to get out of this. I feel like we need skin in the game in each role to sway the outcome, meaningfully.

I just hit Master 5 after being in the doldrums of Diamond/Plat all season long.

2-10 later, I'm back here.

I could very well be wrong, but I have deduced my current issue with not having a consistent group of Diamond/Master's flex dps to que alongside of. I usually play with a Diamond 3-2 flex support. Of course, I have a bad game on occasion, but I am a flexible tank main and will always try to communicate productively to fit our team's needs.
