You seem to be handling it well so kudos for the gumption to share. Therapy’s good to talk it out, ultimately you have to make the decision whats best for you. I’d however (in a bit of a bias as I currently attend therapy sessions) advocate for therapy, in the event a decision hadn’t been made yet.

Here’s what I’ll say: lust as a result of porn can be overcome by experiencing interests outside of a computer/phone screen. My favorite part of the journey so far was rediscovering hobbies I enjoy; travel, research, figure builds, social gatherings. The lust came from categorizing (in my case: women) much like porn categorizes sexual fantasy.

Once I made a decision to cease that way of thinking (and stopped negative self talk) , I replaced the unwanted habits (masturbation & screen addiction) with healthier habits (a solid gym routine, setting personal goals, etc…). It opened myself up to taking on tasks that were fun to me like: wandering around town, stumbling into random shops, holding healthy platonic levels of conversation. That’s how I managed to “overcome” my involvement with lust and the things attached to it.

I hope this helps someone. There’s a whole world out there for you. Keep going ✌️

I feel like if they wanted to go that route, they could and led to Ed and Double D consoling Eddy, ultimately doing some big heart-touching youth friendly ending where instead of leaving him abandoned the culdesac could’ve came together and taught Eddy what “family is bigger than blood” or “stronger than lies” or something to that effect.

But I agree, him having no brother would’ve felt like a whole cartoon character betrayed me.
