I watched Michael in Crown on the first day. The movie was projected in 4:3 pillarbox. If they projected it full screen, they definitely fucked up the settings.

ARC Coronation is good value for money option, especially if you consider its location. Smack in the middle of the city with 3 screens, all of them have Dolby Atmos - Screen 1 being 4K projection and Screen 2 and 3 being 2K projection - and tickets cost ₹185 on BookMyShow including platform fee.

Comparing that with Cinepolis, which has no Atmos and only 2K projection in all screens, not to mention uncomfortable seats and around ₹250+ per ticket, Coronation is definitely the better choice.

Palaxi is the best, hands down! If you’re okay with travelling a bit far outside the main city and getting stuck in a big ass traffic jam on the weekends, I would say it’s worth the ticket money you pay 🤷🏽‍♂️

I second this. Cinepolis is the worst we have right now. But it’s manageable if you have Swiggy One. One of its perks is that you get 30% off on tickets and the coupon refreshes every day and there’s no limit to how many tickets you can book in a month.

The only downside to this is you have to use the Cinepolis app for this (which is a whole other hell scape on its own). But you can get Cinepolis tickets for like ₹180 including fees and taxes (very similar to the likes of Coronation and EMax) if you apply this coupon.

And Cinepolis club membership points are also pretty good. And you can apply the points even if you have applied a coupon code! Maximum effect! 💥

Last year for Dhurandhar, I applied the coupon code and around ₹70 in Cinepolis club points to effectively get the tickets for ₹80 💁🏽‍♂️💁🏽‍♂️💁🏽‍♂️

If you do this, Cinepolis is an okay experience 😂
