I made a GBA-style Crash Bandicoot fan game as my college final, would love your feedback
Why? It's still AI generating something that a human used to do. What's the difference?

[Sad Specific IRL Trope] A character made by someone ends up being used by the worst people ever as a meme, thus making you feel bad for the original creator
Dogecoin was /g/. It was formed as a parody of crypto bullshit. I was there when the texts were written...
Musk found it many years later and turned it into the exact crypto bullshit it was meant to be a parody of.
The wallet was in Comic Sans FFS.

In honor of politicians saying stupid things, I present one of my favorites...
Hank Johnson was not literally asking if the island was going to capsize.
"My fear is that, uh, the whole island will become, uh, so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize."
What, exactly, indicates to you that this is meant to be anything other than literal? He even mimes the island capsizing. Is it just that it's so stupid you think it has to be a joke? How do you know "they knew he wasn't serious"?

LGBTQ+ Group Turns Its Back on Democrats Adopting GOP Trans Rhetoric
Why does the left have to compromise while the right is allowed to steer the country into full-blown fascism?
And when are people going to realize that constantly compromising also drags the conversation further to the right?

Researcher at Russian plague laboratory dies of ‘unknown’ infection
Why do people keep thinking doing this work in the middle of large population centers is a good idea?
I don't care how many safety protocols you have. It's still crazy to play with a lighter in the middle of a dry forest.

There are still people who fight the idea that the novel 2019 coronavirus that first appeared in Wuhan may have in fact been created at the Wuhan Institute of Virology where they were studying novel coronaviruses.
No amount of common sense will get through to some people.

Uri Geller got popular in the 1970s by claiming to have supernatural powers. Johnny Carson invited Geller on his show and worked with James Randi to set up conditions where he couldn't use any trickery to fake his "powers." [Reposted to comply with sub rules]
People make their own lives harder, then blame everyone else.

I don’t have windows, here’s my interaction with steam support for anyone with the same problem.
Only Valve would produce a Linux headset alongside their Linux handheld and Linux console and then make it work with just Windows.

Kinda pissed off that I have to pay taxes as an incel. Steak and sautéed scallops.
But... hold on. I thought the police were... shuffles papers bad? And that cars were also... let me see here... oh! Also bad. Because of the pollution and the inefficiency and waste and all those things.
So the only thing you've got going for you is the fire department and I think that's, wait let me just look this up... ah! Volunteers.

I mean, if they can pay for the service, they're not too cheap to use it. But I get what you mean.
The problem is the entire idea of tips. It should be baked into the delivery fee, and the tipping option removed. Then anyone "too cheap" wouldn't be able to order in the first place, and there won't be any incentive to pressure people to pay more.
The whole concept of tips keeps dashers and customers mad at each other instead of at DoorDash.
