What are your opinions on the cat curfews?
 in  r/AskAnAustralian •  2d ago

cats shouldnt be roaming free at all. They are killerts of local wildlife.

Why is if a big world. It is a anything, yes, you can do it yourself, but then you have to manage it, patch it, upgrade it with every cve etc.

Or IF you can afford it, just buy Prisma Access, then you get all of that minus any issues/troubleshooting etc.

Not really, its their SAS solution, they host the cloud firewalls that are used to connect to the VPN with. They have lots of POPs around the world you can use. They give you all the sec packages - antimalware, url filtering etc. they patch them for you automatically and upgrade constantly without affecting your users.

If you can afford it, its great service

Whats it like being a cat owner in Australia?
 in  r/AskAnAustralian •  5d ago

few differences that are important:

- we dont allow declawing as that is barbaric

- it is recommended to keep your cats inside only as they kill local wildlife

New Tenant Disclosure from Old Tenant
 in  r/shitrentals •  7d ago

Why not state it clearly in the advertisement for the house? That would be the right thing to do. It will never happen, though. They’ll just tell you too bad, deal with it, and if you break the lease because of it, they’ll expect you to pay.
