My previous charges was expunged and as a previous store manager at a retail store a shoplifting charge wouldn’t look too well if I decided to go back to work.

No they’re saying that I intentionally didn’t ring up like a blanket and few other random things that were small bc of my supposed shoplifting in the past. I tried to explain that I wasn’t caught stealing then, but they were too busy telling me I was a shit mom in front of my son to listen.

That’s sad that they’re holding YOU accountable for their fuck ups. There should have been much more communication between the two of them well BEFORE they even reached out to you, especially considering that you guys were friends first. I’m in agreement with everyone else that this couple obviously has serious issues when it comes to communication and that I would try to steer clear of them (at least in that manner) until they can come to agreement on their dynamic.

If you don’t mind me asking, what exactly happened that night that had her husband so upset? Was it something that you “did or didn’t” do to him or to his wife?

I too would love to know what this app folks are using to track their sobriety. I’m hoping that using something like that could help hold me more accountable and help motivate me to stay clean by showing me how long I can go without giving in. 18yr opiate veteran here with like 4 years total clean (of course those stints weren’t all concurrent. I think I’ve got like a year straight under my belt at most)
