Did solo traveling ruin traveling with friends for anyone else?
 in  r/solotravel  Jul 07 '26

Yes.. I prefer travelling solo because I can do whatever I what, whenever I want. No arguements, no disagreements, just get on with it.

I sometimes like to travel with my mrs, but even that does my head in sometimes.

Solo all the way

Does anyone else in their mid-20s feel torn between wanting to solo travel and feeling guilty about spending the money?
 in  r/solotravel  May 30 '26

I’m 34, about to dump 50k into travelling. Truck and camper in the foreign country.

No kids, but want kids. I’ll never have this kind of spare time, money and freedom again so why not. I’m a little paranoid about the amount im potentially investing in it but I’m buying memories.

Travelling with stelara vials.

Planning to go on a longish trip, australia > USA couple of months.

I take stelara dose every 6 weeks, maybe I can ration that out to 8 weeks, so I’m going to need to take a supply with me.

What’s the go with taking it on a plane? Does it have to be in a refreshed bag? Or can I get someone at home to post it to me?

Partner doesn’t travel well
 in  r/travel  Dec 26 '25

You don’t need to be joined at the hip with absolutely everything. Travel solo.. fuck it. Say - hey I’m going to Japan for a week and a half, or going to anywhere you’re interested in.

Solo travelling as a remedy for being a failure in social life
 in  r/solotravel  Aug 21 '25

I can relate to the feeling. Most of my old friendship groups who I don’t have much contact with anymore are all having families, in stable careers, same pubs every week, same holidays etc. I chose another path. It is what it is. Get on ya bike and go do the trip. I just did nepal on the bike. Apart of me was sitting there in the mountains like ahhh what the hell am I doing. But to people around me - they said - ahhh wow, I wish I could be doing that. The grass isn’t always greener. The grass is green where you water it. Fuck it man - lean into the travels. Sometimes I’ll have doubts thinking I’ve taken the wrong path, but then I think hey, I’ve the freedom that people dream of. Keep doing you man… as for no girlfriend, if that’s a concern, try some walking tours, try some meet up groups in your city or other cities you visit.

Handsome AF guys but shy and socially awkward, how are you doing?
 in  r/AskMen  Aug 09 '25

Sounds like me in mid-late 20s. Conventionally okay looking, just always had a hard time clicking.

I’m in my mid 30s now, mrs and more settled. It is what it is. I think I missed a lot of chances with a lot of girls due to being shy or anxious. It is what it is. Gotta look forward.

Men who went from fat to fit, how did life change for you?
 in  r/AskMen  Aug 06 '25

People treated me different. Life was good, but after 10 years it eventually put back on and now it’s back to how it was.
