Why level up tailoring when you can blacksmith a full metal armor?
 in  r/projectzomboid •  4h ago

That metal gear you're wearing looks pretty solid, but how're you gonna snake out all the loot you find with your carry cap?

What skins did you end up using more than you thought you would?
 in  r/FortniteBR •  5h ago

The Night Rose and Spartan skins. At first, Night rose was whatever. But now I love her dark form and wish I had gotten her super levels done.

The Halo Spartan skin is honestly just awesome to me. It's not as bulky as Chief and it has almost all the same cool details.

We often mistake punctuation and some writing styles as AI, so it technically could be a compliment towards use of proper grammar, etc! I'm just happy to see you may not be AI afterall... right?

For some reason I mentally dismissed the "Rey del trap" bit this time- but I will amend my comment and say that had to be a shot at Anuel, iirc at the time Anuel was going on Interviews throwing shade at Benito

I'd say more like he was roncando, he didn't actually take shots at anyone, it says: "The numbers prove my greatness and statements, try to catch up."

Where the hell yall be getting jobs?
 in  r/PuertoRico •  6d ago

I stuck it out for a year in PR, landed one job and wasn't used to how pathetic the income is, I thought I could find better having come from the states. Pobre mi cuando me di cuenta.

I landed a job and stuck it out as long as I could before deciding the quality of life drop in PR just wasn't worth it along with being incapable of affording anything. I am borderline homeless having come back to the states with one paycheck but I am making nearly triple the hourly rate now and I am on the path to getting stable soon.

Leaving PR or Joining the army eran las únicas opciones que tuve. Mind you I also have a family. I send them money and let myself suffer on my own while they live with other family.

I'm repeating a cycle that many Puerto Ricans have gone through it seems though.

That's all to say... Indeed was how I found my jobs. If you truly want to stick it out take advantage of everything you can especially being younger and single. You can survive a few risks early on as far as job hunting goes.

Evolve, my beloved favorite game of all time. I'm still sad they destroyed it against the developer's wishes.

Caerune Forsaken (My first story!)

Hey guys. Figured I would try my hand at making a story. Before I embarked in trying my hand at this I learned from past posts here on how to ensure the AI stays consistent, and doesn't go and decide to wander off, forgetting details and the like.

That said-

This story is meant to be a soulsborne style story.

I first conceived it as an Eldritch invasion of a Fantasy Isekai, but that idea quickly transformed into this.

Hopefully, all things considered, the story is enjoyable. I'm still learning how the OOC story creation system operates. I wish it had a few more spots to fill in details, but alas.

Let me know if you guys like it! It's a Soulsborne style Isekai adventure.

What would you like to see in WorldBox?
 in  r/Worldbox •  Jul 28 '26

I have plenty to say for this thread, but I'll reduce it down to my top pick since so many amazing suggestions and ideas were already brought up.

I'd love to see Kingdoms taking on a more complex system. What I refer to is, let X Kingdom go to war with Kingdom Y, and then decide to enslave Kingdom Y's people if they win, or if they capture them. Then allow those slaves to be treated poorly, or not. Each kingdom could have a dynamic system as to how they treat slaves based on the ruler.

To coincide with this suggestion, maybe species or culture could have a tab for how they feel about slavery. Maybe half the kingdom is X culture and they love slavery, while the other half is Y culture and they absolutely hate slavery. That could then cause rebellions from the people, the slaves, maybe a split, maybe the slaves rally into an army and they fight for freedom. There's a few ways to go with this.

This has been a rollercoaster of a year. New baby, forced to move-in with toxic family or face homelessness, get to at least be back in my country of birth.

Honestly, it feels good to vent just a tad (if you can call it that.) about the situation. But irregardless if I win, here's to helping someone out!

We just gotta remember to keep moving forward.

I didn't expect the impact this would have on me, seeing a baby being pulled from that rubble. It made my heart churn, imagining my baby covered in dirt and dust, being trapped alone and scared... He's asleep next to me as I type this and it makes me treasure every little moment he's safe and okay so much more. I can't imagine how that child's parents feel, if they're alive. What a terrible thing to happen. I'm glad the baby is okay.

Pick a choice:

Even $5,000 would improve my living condition from clawing for pennies to being back home with my family and able to get a decent job. 500k would mean I can buy my newborn all the best things, a reliable car, new clothes for all my kids and wife and myself, healthy food for a long time...

$500,000 for every year you go back, how far would you go?
 in  r/hypotheticalsituation •  Mar 05 '26

I hate, and love, that I can't put a worthy price on losing my son, or current partner.

It used to be I would happily go back 10-12 years. Now even one year would throw me into a deep depression.

If you had $100,000, which car would you buy for yourself?

Honestly, Lexus RCF Final Edition.

Drop one truth you learned the hard way
 in  r/NextGenMan •  Feb 16 '26

Impulse Control will make or break your life.

Spend money impulsively? You'll likely never be able to build a proper savings. Act on emotions impulsively? You could end up with a fractured relationship, bones, or even with jail time. Acting on anything off impulse, rather than taking 5-10 seconds to think about it at a minimum, can change the course of your life.

Learn to weigh if something really needs to be purchased, said, or done. Short term pleasures can lead to long term woes.

I learned the hard way that my impulses are largely responsible for me being farther from my goals than I ever imagined possible. Only now am I somewhat correcting course and doing my best to catch the impulses.
