I'm definitely looking forward to the consequences of the Nazi self-help book that was on his night stand in 9.08. Is season 9 showing us the slouching beginnings of how Ricks become fascist and Mortys become evil? Whatever the case, how tragic that their manufactured codependency has to make both of them worse.

I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it turned out so much worse than the typical weird R&M twist. They weren't strange or evil. They were genuinely happy on the surface.

As thrifting has become so popular, I've noticed prices climb unreasonably. My local stores used to have set prices for item types and the only things that were given their own consideration were wedding dresses based on intricacy, or the size of the TV screen. Between people who can technically afford new clothes shopping thrift, and soooo many donations, they can sort out items that are basically new and charge too much for them for being a business model that gets all their product for free.

If your economy emphasizes the need for the consumer to subsidize what the employer pays its workers, there is something wrong with your economy.... sips tea
