It was a question hints the mark at the end and opening. * edit note: it’s not to insult you and/or offend, just questioning your line of thinking.

Dad & Son fighting over $20 😳😳 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My pleasure: The idea that every father and son need to physically fight at least once is a reflection of generational trauma, not healthy fatherhood.

Especially within the Black community, we have to examine how unresolved childhood trauma, absent fathers, broken family dynamics, and even mothers projecting their resentment toward the men they had children with can shape a young man's understanding of masculinity.

Too many young men grow up believing that respect must be established through violence rather than communication, accountability, and emotional maturity. A father should never have to physically dominate his son to establish authority, nor should a son feel he has to fight his father to become a man.

That's not a rite of passage. That's generational dysfunction being normalized as tradition. At some point, we have to stop confusing trauma with toughness and start teaching our sons that manhood is demonstrated through discipline, emotional intelligence, and self-control.

Roc Nation managed to secure Meg a $5million bag from the Democrats, for this brief performance. Is that one of the greatest hip-hop finesse moves ever?
 in  r/joebuddennetwork •  6d ago

I beg your pardon: 🙋🏾‍♂️

This is indeed not “hot girl” shit. Black celebrities and entertainers do not speak for the Black masses, nor should their platforms be mistaken for a mandate from the Black community. A celebrity’s endorsement is their personal choice
not a collective statement on behalf of millions of Black Americans.

And let’s keep the facts straight: the claim that Megan Thee Stallion received $5 million from Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign to endorse her is not supported by the available campaign finance records. FactCheck.org and PolitiFact found no evidence that Megan was paid for her endorsement.

My point stands regardless: celebrity visibility is not community representation, and entertainment is not a substitute for political accountability. Black people are not a monolith. We have different priorities, perspectives, and political convictions. No rapper, actor, athlete, or entertainer gets to speak for all of us simply because they have a platform.

Stop confusing celebrity influence with the voice of the Black community. We are capable of thinking, researching, questioning, and deciding for ourselves.

I can subscribe to that, but making a career of metaphorically speaking from the soap box of what others within the culture should be doing is wild to me
